What services do you offer?

FineLines Design Studio is a highend residential and commercial design-build company. We offer services to homeowners, custom home builders, small landscape maintenance companies, architects, and property management companies who seek professional services for their projects.

What do you feel distinguishes you from your competitors?

We focus on master planning and helping our clients to see the big picture by using 3D models and video animations, creating multiple options to help them in their decision-making process. This gives our company the ability to close on more jobs, create repeat business year after year, and stand strong against the competition.

Will you take on projects of any size or scope?

Since we are focusing on master planning, our average projects start at $150,000 and go up to $1 million. We do small phases for our clients if it is part of our overall project, and it can be a minimum of $50,000 per phase.

What’s your favorite type of project to work on?

While we work on large residential master plans most of the time, I love designing small spaces with lots of potential. When confined to a small footprint, everything you do matters because it contributes to the project in a big way.

What’s the measure of a successful project?

The client’s happiness! But also, being on budget, on time, and winning awards.

What’s one thing people often don’t understand or realize about your line of work?

I think the biggest issue we run into is our clients’ expectations versus their budget. Understanding the relationship between a client’s wish list and their budget is key to a successful outcome. You must be realistic when looking at the wants and needs of a project.

What do you love most about what you do?

I am passionate about landscape design because it offers a multitude of opportunities to give back to the world. I take pride in being part of a profession where ecological and cultural contributions can be made with each and every project.
