PTC Women’s Club Lunches and Desserts
Each month, let us do the planning for your ladies day out. Treat yourself to new experiences as you visit new lands with our dramatists, enjoy new sounds with noted musicians and vocalists and explore new mediums with area artists. Members and guests are all warmly welcomed. Advanced registration is required one week before each scheduled program. In June, enjoy lunch then listen to Gary Midkiff as he presents Overlooked American Women in History. Learn more about the fascinating lives and worlds of such historic women as Mary Walton, Jeanette Rankin, Genieve Forbes and more. In July, enjoy dessert and a local violinist, Martin Lopez, and his special tribute to the American Songbook. In August, join us for lunch and then welcome political lecturer, Dr. Julie Strauss presenting Women in Politics: The Difference They Make. Art Alive
Explore the masterpieces of the art world and learn about the history and paintings of the world’s most beloved artists with a Columbia Art School Art Educator. Each class will feature larger-than-life masterworks projected on large screen and the history behind each composition. Experience different countries, different periods of art and the incredible artists who paved the way. This very popular art appreciation class is one of the Patty Turner Centers’ signature programs.
