InvestingNews.com reported in early August that some nickel companies performed exceptionally well, rebounding from a low of US$11,055 per tonne in March to US$13,888. Elon Musk called for more mining of the base metal, with similar results for copper and a promising “upside” on pricing for the remainder of the year. drawing attention. Nickel deposits at the 4,368-hectare Manibridge Project occur within sulphide-rich metasedimentary rocks of the Ospwagan Group intruded by ultramafic sills. In March 2019, CanAlaska reported upgraded assay results and lengths at Manibridge with high-grade nickel up to 12.06 per cent over 0.95 metres, contained within semimassive and disseminated sulphide mineralization. Fjordland Exploration’s Thompson Nickel Belt project also continues to attract attention as earlier this year the company. CanAlaska Uranium granted an option for the project to earn an interest in two large claim groups (Hunter and Strong), located 25 kilometres north of Vale's Thompson mining complex. The properties are prospects for Ni-Cu-Co-PGE magmatic sulphide mineralization, analogous to the deposits hosting the historic mine. A review of data by Fjordland confirmed the presence of several robust nearsurface drill targets and demonstrated 14 potential Ni-Cu-PGE exploration targets, six of which will be an ongoing priority. These companies show glowing prospects for nickel and copper for Manitoba to come back after a decadelong worldwide commodities slump and impact of the global pandemic. Palomar Lake Gold Property

PROPERTY PROFILE

east of the town of Bissett along Provincial Road 304, within the same assemblage of supracrustal rock that host the gold deposits comprising the True North gold mine in Bissett. The Palomar property occupies a portion of the Archean Rice Lake greenstone belt that is constrained between two plutonic complexes. To the west is the Ross River pluton, a tonalitic intrusion, and to the east is the North Caribou terrane, an older granitoid-dominated cratonic block to which the Rice Lake greenstone belt was accreted to during the assembly of the western Superior province. The constraints presented by the two plutonic complexes result in high degrees of deformation within the supracrustal rocks manifest in tight folding and shear zone development. The major shear zone in this region is the Moore Lake shear zone, which separates the supracrustal rocks from the North Caribou Terrane. Numerous shear zones transect the property and major lithological contacts are highly deformed, presenting favourable environments for gold mineralization. The geology of the Palomar property is dominated by thick sequences of mafic and intermediate composition volcanic rocks located on the eastern limb of a regional-scale fold (Figure 1). The mafic volcanic sequence is dominated by thick massive flows with minor pillowed flows. Overlying the mafic sequence is a thick sequence of bedded dacitic to andesitic volcaniclastic rocks ranging from tuff to tuff breccia. Gabbro intrudes the volcanic sequence as sills and possibly dykes. In the core of the regional fold the gabbroic rocks are oriented parallel to the layering in the mafic volcanic rocks, folded around the regional fold hinge, suggesting that the gabbro may have intruded as sills or were

Historic gold occurrences were identified along the margins of the transposed gabbro dykes. Old pits and trenches expose decimetre to metre-wide quartz veins containing finely disseminated pyrite and locally chalcopyrite. These veins have returned high grade, multi-ounce per ton gold assays that are detailed in the cloud link. More recently, gold mineralization comprising the Palomar Vein system has been discovered associated with quartz vein systems developed along the contacts between flows within bedded dacitic volcaniclastic rocks. The Palomar Vein system consist of several parallel quartz veins that have been traced semicontinuously for 130 metres and locally form a 10-metre-wide zone. The individual quartz veins pinch and swell but are up to two metres in width. The quartz veins contain finely disseminated pyrite and trace chalcopyrite, generally concentrated along the margins of the veins. The veins are enveloped by marginal zones of weak to moderate sericitic alteration of the dacitic country rock. Sampling of the Palomar vein at a number of locations returned significant gold assays along its exposed strike length. Grab samples returned multiple high gold grade assays (>10 gpt Au) and channel sampling returned gold grades up to 9.45 gpt Au over four metres (Figure 2). The Palomar property is available for option. All claims are in good standing and currently have $330,000 in excess assessment credits. The Geology Summary has been prepared by Chris Beaumont-Smith, Ph.D.,P.Geo. (cbsgeoscience@gmail.com). Interest in the Palomar Gold property should be directed to George Nykulaik (gmn55@yahoo.com).

mineralization. The project area is underlain by a suite of metasedimentary rocks that are comprised mainly of biotite Âą sericite schists, quartzite and metawacke with some local calc-silicate bearing horizons. Most important, the property also hosts several sulphide-rich formations that have at least three different origins, including regional formational sulphide-rich beds that to date are barren, magmatic sulphides hosting Ni-Cu-Co-PGE mineralization, and the more recent discovery of gold-bearing sulphide lenses, stringers and disseminations hosted in large belt-parallel structures. The metasedimentary sequence is also cut by ultramafic and mafic dikes and sills, with varying degrees of metamorphism, alteration, and mineralization. The youngest rocks are granitoid dikes ranging in thickness from less than one to about 10 metres. To the north, the sequence of deformed metasedimentary rocks continues for approximately six kilometres, being cut intermittently by several large diorite bodies. The southern project area is bounded by a large diorite pluton, with granitoids further to the south. High-grade Ni-Cu-Co-PGE mineralization is exposed in a surface road cut in the northern part of the project area. The nickel sulphides occur at the contact between host metasedimentary rocks and an ultramafic dike or sill that is altered and metamorphosed to biotite schist. The ore is typical of displaced magmatic sulphides showing strong penetrative deformation. The

Some of the project highlights include: 1) Gold-bearing structures delineated by geophysics and geochemistry for a minimum 11 kilometres strike length, almost all of which has yet to be drill tested. 2) Several multi-metal, multi-sample biogeochemical anomalies coincident with geophysics anomalies, with only a small fraction of the property covered by geochemical sampling to date. 3) All drill holes in or near the gold-bearing structures showing anomalous to significant gold mineralization, along with minor copper, silver, and lead. The structure has been tested to a maximum vertical depth of only 75 metres, with drill holes restricted to a 300-metre strike length in the central zone, and one section on a splay fault two kilometres west of the central zone. 4) High-grade magmatic Ni-Cu-Co-PGE mineralization occurs in the property, with potential to discover more in any one of the myriad untested geophysical anomalies, or within the increasing number of mafic and ultramafic bodies being discovered within the project area. 5) High-grade Ni showing assays include up 2.68 per cent Ni, 0.09 per cent Cu, 0.08 per cent Cu, 2.90 g/t PGE over 0.37 metres,

showings identified in the northwest quadrant where in excess of 2 million ounces of gold have been mined or comprise mineral resources. The corresponding southeast quadrant, in which the Beresford property is located, has produced significantly less gold over its history, largely due to less intensive exploration. The geology of the eastern RLGB consists of thick sequences of volcanic and volcaniclastic rocks comprising the Garner, Bidou and Gem assemblages, which are in turn overlain by sediments comprising the Edmunds assemblage. These sequences record the evolution of a volcanic arc, its uplift and accretion as the western Superior craton is assembled. The deformational history of the RLGB is characterized by the development of numerous shear zones during a prolonged period of transpression. The eastern RLGB deformational history is similar with that of the productive northwestern RLGB, further supporting the perspectivity for gold in the eastern region. Manitoba Geological Survey geological mapping has delineated several structural and lithological features that are prospective for the development of gold deposits. The Beresford property is dominated by the Manigotogan River anticline, which represents a macroscopic, southeast-

Why are these locations significant? Klimack Lake is on the Thompson Nickel Belt, and of note, is that the North West Laurier ground sampling matched the air mag profile. This property is next to all-weather roads − within a few miles of highways, railways, towns, and hydro power − giving you immediate infrastructure, ease of access, and minimized costs, especially relating to exploration. If you want to explore, these locations are a great place to start and to expand to other locations, as evidenced by the staking

direction of a P.Geo, who prepared a technical report of both locations. Both areas are outside of all parks and special restrictions. Along with the high levels of nickel, copper, and zinc found on our properties, there are documented anomalies found in the oil well core showing high lead and zinc content in the sedimentary basin, which is evidenced in our ground survey. The lab results indicate a high potential volume and additional information is provided at https:cutt.ly/KlimackLaurier. This is a new opportunity, as the work was completed in 2019

Wolfden’s Quality Nickel Exploration Properties in Manitoba

Wolfden Resources Corporation (TSX:WLF) is a Canadian exploration & development company featuring a proven management team with a track record in mineral exploration, mine development, and mine finance experience. Priority portfolio projects include the Rice Island and Nickel Island Ni-Cu-Co properties in Manitoba and the Pickett Mountain base-metal deposit in Maine, USA.

Rice Island Project The 100 per cent-owned Rice Island property, containing the Rice Island Ni-Cu-Co deposit, comprises 3,760 hectares and is situated 10 kilometres south-southeast of Snow Lake in west-central Manitoba, within the Snow Lake-Flin Flon greenstone belt. The property is well located proximal to infrastructure with facilities that include power, labour, and supplies in Snow Lake as well as mineral processing facilities at the neighbouring Stall Lake concentrator, five kilometres northwest of the Rice Island deposit. The Rice Island Ni-Cu-Co deposit was explored by diamond drilling programs completed by Inco Ltd. largely in the late 1940s, with minor drill programs completed in 1967 and 1996. The drilling delineated a magmatic Ni-Cu-Co deposit (Main Zone) over a strike length of 340 metres and to a maximum vertical depth of 500 metres, with prominent intercepts including 2.63 per cent Ni, 0.98 per cent Cu over 10.3 metres, 2.39 per cent NI, 1.24 per cent Cu over 10.1 metres, 4.31 per cent Ni, 1.28 per cent Cu over 5.2 metres and 3.20 per cent Ni, 1.23 per cent Cu over six metres. The Main Zone, comprising semi-massive to massive pyrrhotite, pentlandite and chalcopyrite occurs at the base of the Rice Island gabbroic intrusion, underlain by sediments, remains open at depth. Diamond drilling completed by Wolfden during the period 2015 to 2017 confirmed the grade, nature, and extent of the Main Zone.

PL Gold Mine re-start update In addition to the positive drilling and exploration, Minnova is actively engaged in discussions with mining contractors and various project finance groups to re-start gold mining operations at the PL Mine. Development options being reviewed range from an initial underground test mining and bulk sampling program with an indicative budget of C$5 to $6 million to complete refurbishment of the mill and underground development as contemplated in the positive 2017 feasibility study with forecast capex of C$35.7 million.

The bottom line Minnova is set to successfully transition to junior gold producer as early as 2021. Considering our low share count (less than 40 million shares), high project NPV/IRR at current gold price,

hectares of mineral dispositions in Tier-1 exploration and mining jurisdictions with proven potential for world-class gold deposits, including the Rice Lake and Snow Lake districts in Manitoba, and the Timmins district in Ontario. The company’s consolidated, district-scale (54,000 hectares) land position in the historically fragmented and underexplored Rice Lake greenstone belt, coupled with the permitted and operational 1,300 tonnes-per-day mill and tailings facility (the True North complex) at Bissett, Manitoba, are critical strategic assets, setting 1911 Gold apart from its peers. Together with a significant revenue stream from the reprocessing of historical tailings, which produces approximately 5,000 ounces of gold per year, and funds ongoing operational and corporate costs, thus minimizing

exploration program of its Rice Lake land package with highresolution aeromagnetic and LiDAR surveys, acquisitions of additional prospective ground, data compilations, and a highly successful field exploration campaign involving mapping, prospecting, and surficial geochemistry. Using a systematic, science-based exploration approach, the company efficiently advanced two projects to first-pass drill testing, including six targets with no record of previous drilling. Highlights of the Phase I drilling program, completed between November 2019 and March 2020, are listed below (please refer to the 1911 Gold website for additional details).

The Rice Lake project covers a 70-kilometre segment of a crustalscale break referred to as the Wanipigow Fault, which defines an ancient craton margin and represents a critical regional control on orogenic gold deposits. The drilling intercepted quartz-carbonate vein systems and associated alteration, with localized high-grade and visible gold, along kilometres-scale structures identified by mapping and interpretation of aeromagnetic and LiDAR data, within larger-scale domains of stratigraphic and structural complexity, providing considerable scale and scope for follow-up exploration. Following a complete shutdown of the True North complex from late March to late April 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our Manitoba-based exploration field crews were returned to site in stages in early May, under new policies and procedures put in place by 1911 Gold to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. To date, there have been no reported cases of COVID-19 related to the True North site or 1911 Gold. The Company continues to actively monitor this situation and will revise work plans as necessary, with strict adherence to provincial guidelines and health orders. Fieldwork in 2020 included detailed geological mapping, prospecting, soil and vegetation sampling and ground geophysical surveys, which succeeded in further delineating targets identified in 2019 and in discovering several exciting new targets, most

maintained with all stakeholders over the years. 1911 Gold is committed to excellence in health, safety and environmental standards, timely information sharing and supporting local and Manitoba-based businesses to maximize local economic benefits. With an experienced management and technical team, clear corporate strategy, clean balance sheet, well-funded exploration program, strong project portfolio in an established operating jurisdiction, and systematic approach to exploration, the Company is well positioned to execute on its plan to generate significant value through discovery of a Tier-1 gold resource while leveraging its existing infrastructure to quickly advance new discoveries into production. 6

notably the high grade “Woodchuck” showing, which returned up to 858 g/t Au from initial grab samples of a quartz-carbonate vein stockwork associated with tourmaline-matrix breccias. Building on exceptional results from the 2020 field program, the fully permitted 2020–2021 Phase II drilling program is planned to include at least 18,000 metres of diamond drilling, funded from the proceeds of a $5.2 million private placement financing that closed in July 2020. The Phase II drill program is designed to include 10,000 metres of follow-up drilling on targets successfully tested and confirmed during the Phase I program, as well as 8,000 metres of first-pass drilling of seven new targets (most with no record of historical drilling) identified during the 2019 and 2020 field programs. With it’s growing pipeline of quality projects and targets, the Company is positioning itself for continued exploration success, with the goal of identifying and developing additional sources of ore to augment the existing mineral resource within the True North deposit, estimated (March 2018) to contain approximately 1 million ounces of gold in the measured, indicated and inferred categories. The Company’s land package is located within the traditional territory of the Hollow Water First Nation, signatory to Treaty No. 5 (1875-76), and the Company continues to benefit from open, cooperative and respectful relationships that have been Manitoba Mining Review 2020-2021

Impact Protection Rating Standards Figuring out hand protection just got easier Work site injury statistics prove just how costly injuries are for both companies and employees. We know that after the back, the hands, wrists, and fingers are the most injured part of the body on a work site. This is where gloves come in. Thirty per cent of hand injuries occur because workers wear the wrong gloves for the task they are doing and 70 per cent of hand injuries occur because workers wear

inadequate or worn out gloves. Modern materials and technology are

glove manufacturers and raw material suppliers. Watson Gloves was invited to participate as part of the working group to review, comment and vote on the drafts of the standards during the ratification process. It’s a voluntary standard for the North American market, designed to accurately classify different levels of impact protection offered by the impact-resistant gloves on the market. This is important because there was no way to rate impact protection before. Anyone could slap a thin piece of rubber on the back of the hand and call it “impact-resistant.” Now there’s a rating system to help consumers decide which gloves will provide proper impact resistance, as it has passed North American testing standards. Many hand injuries can be completely avoided with the proper hand protection, which is why it’s so important to choose the right glove for each task. Glove design is of utmost importance. By placing impact pads, resistant support, and hard plastic armor in the vulnerable spots of the hand, Watson Gloves can provide the perfect balance between protection and performance. As Watsons was part of the working group for ANSI/ISEA 138, they’re ahead of the curve and have a wide selection of Impact-resistant gloves that have been tested.

Amongst the many Impact resistant styles that have recently been developed is the Commander (style #9585), lined for winter. It has the highest level of impact resistance, Level 3, and also features: •C old MX insulation – compact insulation that is windproof, anti-bacterial and provides excellent thermal efficiency without bulk • Polariz inner lining – microfleece lining coated with aluminum dots that reflect the body’s radiant heat back • D3OiA Impact Additive – D3O Impact Additive loaded into the TPR will allow 30 per cent better impact-resistance compared to regular TPR at the same thickness • Wounded Warriors – partial proceeds from the sales of every pair of 9595 (and Shock Troopers) will be donated to Wounded Warriors Canada • Also available in an unlined version (585) Watsons also has many Level 2 styles if Level 3 is a little over-the-top for the job you are performing. Whatever you do, as an employer or a consumer, make sure your or your employee’s hands are properly protected. GEOLOGIC

ALL-TERRAIN (GAT)

DRILL

Environmental friendly, highly portable drill for till (geochemistry), lake sediment and mineral grain sampling using 76 mm (3 in) augers or sampling tubes Soil sampling and associated geochemical analyses (geochemistry, grain size, grain composition etc.) is being increasingly used as a prospecting and exploration tool. These techniques can be especially useful when applied after airborne or ground geophysical surveys have identified conductor zones or specific anomaly targets. Sampling and geochemical analysis of till directly overlying bedrock most often provides the most useful data. The till is often overlain by lake silt, clays or peat deposits and it is necessary to auger (drill) through these deposits to recover till samples. An efficient and portable drill has been developed to access and soil sample in remote areas.

Geologic All-Terrain (GAT) Drill • Shallow bedrock coring (BQ) • Light weight 600 kgs (1300 lbs) and towable by ATV or long track snowmobile • Custom made rugged axle-less steel carrier • High flotation low pressure tires • High quality aluminum drill components • Hydraulically driven and controlled operation with quick interchangeable hydraulic motors • Quick hydraulic couplers for even more drill component break down • High torque 0-243 rpm soil augering capability - 15m + depth sampling • Higher rpm 0-970 rpm rock coring capability • US and CDN patents
