9F691 SAMAN
Mission The 9F691 Saman drone dystem is designed to launc h 9F841/9F841 M air target simulators imit atin g piloted aircraft, cruise missiles, remotel y piloted vehicles and components of precision-guided weapon systems at extremel y low, low and medium altitudes in the radar and infrared wavebands. The Saman drone system is used for practice firing by air defence units, as well as for operational testing of air defence missile/artillery systems under development.
