“Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind, and therefore is winged Cupid painted blind.” – William Shakespeare
The dream of love is a wish that our heart makes; there is nothing in the world more wonderful than love. We all want to be in love, we all believe in fairytales. As little girls, we dream of that perfect wedding. For some, it’s an elegant wedding with all the heart-warming charm of one of our favorite fairytales, Cinderella, completed with the fairy godmother blessing us with her wand and giving us the wedding we’ve dreamed of. Others want that elegant traditional wedding … brides love lace and pearls. Then there’s that modern bride, tradition’s not her style, she seeks unique, different, and one-of-a-kind. Whatever your dream, we have your taste. As you turn each page, we’ll help you with the latest wedding trends. We want you to get inspired and fall in love with one of our local wedding vendors, who will help make your dreams come true. This magazine celebrates love and romance. Once upon a time two people fell in love …

eeting the love of your life never happens in the way you expect. For Matt McCoy and Brittanie Portillo, this couldn’t have been more true. Brittanie, a born and bred El Pasoan, got her start right here in the Sun City as a graduate of Franklin High School on the west side. From
there she attended junior college for two years and then transferred to the University of Texas at El Paso where she competed for the Lady Miner’s Volleyball team. After graduating, Brittanie pursued her love of Volleyball and continued coaching in El Paso, first at her alma mater Franklin, then Chapin High School and finally moving across the state to coach at another program in Dallas. Then 25, Brittanie felt a little restless and wondered what other career possibilities she could pursue. After speaking with her parents Brittanie’s father, a State Farm Insurance agent, encouraged her to give the company a try – so she did. After being offered a job in Houston at the State Farm corporate office, Brittanie moved yet again and began work at the company that would have a hand in changing her life forever. After three years at her job, Brittanie, qualified for a business incentive trip to New Orleans in May 2013. While there, she stepped into an elevator – the same elevator that was occupied by none other than Matt McCoy, who held the exact same position as Brittanie at the State Farm Insurance branch in Tulsa, Oklahoma. From there, Brittanie didn’t think much of the encounter – the couple occasionally bumped into each other throughout the rest of the week and shared casual conversations. When the vacation was over, Brittanie and Matt each travelled home to their own lives . . . until they both unknowingly set out on the next State Farm sponsored business incentive vacation, this time to Barcelona, Spain. One month later, Brittanie accompanied by her mother set out on a cruise in the south of Spain. While at dinner one night, Brittanie thought she saw a familiar face out of the corner of her eye. As she saw him begin to walk over to their table, she realized that it was the man she had met in the elevator in New Orleans – but in that moment, she couldn’t remember his name. When he came

to Serendipity for dinner and my family was there! I cried and was simply dumbfounded. We all had a nice steak dinner and watched fireworks in the strip – it was perfect.” From there Brittanie returned home and began planning the wedding. After deciding to have the ceremony and reception here in El Paso, she and her mom enlisted the aid of Laura Carrillo and the details began falling into place. After deciding to hold on the EPIC Railyard Events Center downtown for their venue, Laura helped Brittanie plan a romantic, eclectic, and elegant day. But before the actual wedding day arrived, Brittanie and Matt enjoyed some fantastic parties and showers. They first celebrated with a Cinco de Mayo shower in Tulsa, then a Top Golf shower in Houston, a polka dot themed Bridal luncheon at the El Paso Club, and Brittanie had her bachelorette party at the Hotel Zaza in Dallas, and Matt had his bachelor party at the Hard Rock Hotel in Tulsa. When the big day finally arrived, all of Brittanie’s plans were set in motion as EPIC was decked out in different shades of ombre – from white to boysenberry and a full spectrum of roses, orchids,

Weddings, 2015 share with their guests. Camille enlisted the help of Angelica Razo of Mint Wedding and Events to help plan the wedding and the logistics of coordinating the many out-of-town guests they anticipated attending the festivities. Talented wedding florist and event designer Laura Carrillo was recruited to help Camille find an event space that could be transformed into the vision Laura and Camille had for both the ceremony and reception. “Picking a venue was difficult because we wanted something really different and unusual. When Laura Carrillo showed us the EPIC Railyard Event Hall in the Hussman Building. I knew immediately that this was the place where we would get married,” said Camille. With 80,000 square feet of event space, the former garment factory and near century-old warehouse, was large enough for Camille and Jon to have the ceremony, cocktail hour and seated dinner and dance reception all at one location. Located on E. Mills Avenue, EPIC lies between Texas Avenue and the Union Pacific railroad tracks. Both Laura and Camille knew that the unique industrial-sized building’s rustic vibe, with its large windows overlooking the railroad cars, would create an edgy, urban backdrop for the affair. The wedding week of events began with a Mexican-themed margarita bash at Carlos & Mickey’s for all of their out-of-town attendees who were then shuttled to the nightclub Little Bit of Texas where their guests (including many of Jon’s family members from California, New York and Pennsylvania) enjoyed line-dancing and mechanical bull-riding. Family members and the wedding party met again the following night at EPIC where Razo helped execute a flawless rehearsal before the entire crew was shuttled to Ardovino’s Desert Crossing for an elegant seated dinner. or Erika Avila Gutierrez and her husband Eric, it happened in between videos about aggressive driving lectures on pedestrian safety.
“We met in driver’s ed,” said Erika, a Court Coordinator for the County of El Paso. “I remember thinking that he was cute and trying to pair up with him.” The two were originally at different schools – Cathedral and Coronado – but then Eric transferred. “I saw him in the hall and I was wondering: ‘Is that Eric?’” Ericka said, remembering. “But then we figured out that we were at the same driver’s ed and he invited me to homecoming.” That first date led to something special – even did take a bit longer than the groom hoped. “It took Eric a few times to convince me to be his girlfriend,” said Erika. “But his persistence paid off and I finally said yes.” Erika also said yes on Christmas Day 2012 when Eric proposed. “We always spend Christmas Eve with my family and Christmas Day with his,” said Erika. “And we have a tradition that we exchange gifts on Christmas day one by one, taking turns. So I was opening all of these really beautifully wrapped presents. I was really impressed! And at the end there was one huge box that I thought were maybe the boots that I had wanted. But when I opened it, there was a smaller box inside of it – and a smaller box inside that one. And the last one was a little blue box. I was floored. He got down on one knee and told me that I was his best friend and that he wanted to be with me forever. When he left his room, both of our families were out there clapping and congratulating us. It really hit me when I saw my mom there. I realized, ‘I’m engaged and I’m getting married.’” After months of planning, the couple wed at St. Matthew Catholic Church, where the two grew up going. The entire day – thirteen years in the making – was elegant, romantic and fun. “When he first proposed, we talked and said that we just wanted a big fun party,” Erika sasid. “We were big social birds. We like going out and having a good time. And we definitely got that big party vibe. We had a great DJ and there was lots of dancing and fun.” 54

Weddings, 2015 Flowers: Stephanie didn’t have specific flowers in mind, instead she wanted shades of pink and white everywhere. Inspiration: Stephanie’s and her mother’s personal taste came through in the choices made. Between scanning websites like Pinterest, seeing other weddings in person, and ideas in magazines, they were able to bounce ideas off each other and their coordinator. Menu Components: They gave all guests the choice of steak or chicken and also provided a garden salad to start, mashed potatoes, asparagus dressed beautifully and a side of El Paso-style green chili. First Dance Song: “My Best Friend” by Tim McGraw. Favors: They made welcome bags in the hotel with Sadies salsa, tortilla chips, custom M&M’s, custom water bottles and custom door hangers. They also used candy bags as favors for their midnight snack bar complete with milk and cookies in martini glasses.

Stephanie and Justin Pribble Advice: Stephanie recommends doing everything little by little. It also may be helpful for a bride to get an idea or picture of what you want to implement. If you knew then what you know now: RSVP’s are a pain – even with a self addressed and stamped envelope for a return response and an alternate option of an online RSVP. Honeymoon: Stephanie and Justin went to Paris, France for a week in May.

Ana and Jaret t rogers Live In: Clint, Texas They Met: Through a mutual friend in Canutillo where she boarded her horses. Ana would occasionally see Jarett there practicing and working with his horses. After he moved away for a few years, he came back to Clint and the couple has been together ever since. Wedding-Day Weather: Sunny and nice; T-shirt weather. Number of Guests: Over 400 Their Approach to Wedding Planning: By using Pinterest and doing a lot herself. Jarrett’s mother also helped out a lot, she even made the custom cake platform. She also fully decorated the Coronado Country Club. Pre-Wedding Celebration: Ana’s family and friends gathered for an all women shower. Together they had a fun and informal couple’s BBQ. They also had a rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding. Wedding Décor: Rustic, western with lots of mason jars and burlap accents Colors: Mostly neutral: ivory, gold and different shades of brown Ceremony: The ceremony was very laid back with each Bridal party member joining the processional to a different country song. Flowers: Baby’s breath, white hydrangea, white rose, yellow daisy, and seeded eucalyptus Inspiration: The couple’s lifestyle – the simplicity of farm life. Favorite Moment: After Jarett danced with his mom and new bride, he and his younger sister shared a sweet dance together. Everyone watching was in tears. Favorite Menu Component: The full spread of meat and the delicious Jack Daniels BBQ Sauce Unexpected Element: As Ana and the bridesmaids were getting ready at their hotel, one of the photographers took the dress to take pictures of it . . . and lost the piece that kept tied the corset together. In the end, Ana used a piece of rustic twine from her decorations to fasten the dress. First Dance Song: “When You Say Nothing at All” by Keith Whitley Favors: 4-ounce mason jars with fabric top and tag: “Love as Sweet as Honey” Advice: Ana recommended getting as much help from your willing family members as possible. C r y s ta l a n d A n t h o n y S a l o m They Met: In February of 2008 when Anthony worked at 1914 Lounge in downtown El Paso. Crystal lost her camera the night they met, and when she went back to look for it he happened to be the one who helped her. He asked for her number, and the rest is history. Wedding Day Weather: It was a summer day, so it was a bit hot, but a little rain just before the ceremony cooled everything down and it turned out to be perfect. Number of Guests: 250 guests Their approach to wedding planning: Crystal has always loved fairy tales and she wanted that to show through so for a theme they chose, “Happily Ever After.” Over the course of planning, they had many meetings, tasting, and samples until they found the people they connected with most with, and the ones that would carry out their fairy tale vision. Pre-Wedding Celebration: Crystal had three themed showers, one from her father’s side of the family which was a bows and pearls theme, one from her mom’s side which was a “Breakfast and Tiffany’s” theme, and one from her husband’s family which was “Beauty and the Beast” theme. Wedding Décor: Crystal opted for a lot of sheer and drapery, elegant floral arrangements with pearls and striped ribbons, as well as a lot of uplighting and their wedding monogram everywhere. Colors: Blush and champagne Flowers: Their unique table style (of using different sized tables throughout the venue) determined the flowers: with taller, more rounded arrangements on the round tables, and shorter longer arrangements on the square and long tables. There were also candles, pearls and crystals everywhere. Inspiration: From the time Crystal was little, she always had ideas of how she wanted her wedding to be. She also used outlets like Pinterest, wedding magazines and TV shows. Menu Components: The meal started with a spring mix salad, with a raspberry vinaigrette dressing. The entrees were filet mignon streak in a peppercorn whiskey sauce, and hazelnut chicken in frangelico sauce. Sides were sautéed veggies and scalloped potatoes. Desserts included chocolate covered strawberries decorated in bride and groom gown and tuxedos, and of course our fabulous cake by Chantilly.

First Dance Song: “Then” by Brad Paisley (Piano Version) Advice: Crystal recommends focusing on the love between you and your husband. Don’t focus on getting everything exactly perfect. You never will. Of course, do all your planning and try to get everything you want, but once the day arrives, just go with the flow. Things will inevitably go wrong, but don’t dwell on them. Continue on as if they didn’t happen. Enjoy your day. It only happens once. If you knew then what you know now: Crystal would have done more research on what dress she wanted before going to the store. Before making her final selection, she ended up buying three dresses but only wearing one the day of the wedding. If you go in open to any type and style of dress, you’ll have an extremely hard time making a choice. Honeymoon: Stephanie and Anthony took a trip to Southern California. They spent three nights in the Los Angeles area and three nights in San Diego. They went parasailing, snorkeling, kayaking, jet skiing in the San Diego harbor, and of course they enjoyed a ton of great meals and shopping.

Altogether, Joann and Amen, Jr. would not have been able to experience the amount of success they have today without the guidance and love of Rose and Amen, Sr. Looking at pictures and mementos of the couple, it’s easy to see the affection and friendship they shared. Forever encapsulated in time is a special letter that Rose wrote to Amen Sr. around 1981, after 44 years of marriage, inside the three beautiful paragraphs are simple, true feelings of sentiment and love. “They really loved each other. That love is so present in this letter and I am so blessed to be their daughter and to have experienced their love and the love they had for our family. The letter my mother wrote to my father really sums their relationship up. It really says so much about my mother, she always believed that wealth is not found in material things, but in people you share your life with.” Through it all, Rose and Amen enjoyed a long, healthy and fruitful marriage that touched the lives of their children, friends and many others in our community. Their story is a simple one, but a spectacular reminder that love is in the everyday; it’s a long and winding road, and truly, the only road worth taking.

If 2015 is the year that you say “I do,” but you’re not really sure where to kick start your wedding planning or just need a push in the right direction, then you might want to take a look at this year’s most notable trends.
Marsala Dream As you may already know, Marsala was announced Pantone’s color of 2015, and rightfully so, with its rich elegant appeal that can be taken from summer to winter with just the right pairings. The use of the gorgeous color does not have to be overpoweringit can be subtle with hints of softer hues. “Marsala can work very well with rich tones, but can also work very well with shades of pink. The deep, rich color really makes a pink bouquet striking. A lot of times pink weddings consist of layers and layers of pink, but mixing it with a Marsala tone gives it an earthy feel, in addition to using earthy colors, and different types of foliages like a seeded eucalyptus, makes a gorgeous bouquet that gives a vintage vibe without being over the top pink,” mentioned Marisa Guerrero, AIFD,CFD, Debbie’s Bloomers Manager.

2015 wedding trends
British State of Mind Since the Kate Middleton royal wedding days, we’ve been obsessed with the British way of throwing a lavish party and in recent months, we’ve had the pleasure to find our newest muse, Downton Abbey, to spark our tea party – al fresco wedding dreams. “One major theme that brides and grooms are seeking for is a romantic, monochromatic feel. It tends to beat out modern themes and even when couples opt for a modern theme, they tend to infuse romantic details. Television shows like Downton Abbey have ignited vintage-British style weddings with heirloom touches, old silverware, and a lot of memories,” said Laura Carrillo, Owner of Laura Carrillo Designs. Even with the most perfect of themes, couples crave individuality and that is a trend that will carry long after 2015. “Individualism is very important in 2015. Couples are really looking for something different and eclectic, yet elegant. They are not looking for the typical designs, styles, or flowers,” said Lynn McPhatter, Owner of Fiori the Flower Studio Events and Flowers.

The Love of Florals Flower accents are a wedding’s best friend. They are not only versatile in terms of theme, but also in functionality. “In bridal bouquets, we’re seeing a lot of bigger bouquets that we have in the past and a lot of cascades coming back into fashion. Where they were very popular say, twenty to thirty years ago, they went out of style. The round style became more popular, but recently we’ve seen cascades come back into fashion,” said Guerrero, AIFD,CFD. Of course, bridal bouquets would not be a gorgeous trend without the blooms. “Peonies, garden roses, and ranunculus will definitely be your flowers for this year. They are very popular. What we are finding is that these flowers really tie into the very popular vintage theme for this year as well,” stated McPhatter. 2015 is the year for DIY enthusiasts and budget savvy couples with DIY trends like paper flowers. “Paper flowers are a very popular trend this year. This trend is beautiful, intricate, and definitely a unique-premium spin on DIY,” stated Carrillo. 146

Taking Flight to a Less is More Approach Weddings have recently taken a ‘less is more’ approach by ditching the traditional way of celebrating “I do” and venturing into more creative forms of wining and dining guests. One bridal favorite is doing away with a costly open bar and taking flight with craft beers. Not only does this flight around the craft beer world give your guests a diverse taste for adult beverages, but it also showcases your creativity and a few of your favorite things as a couple. When opting for a drink station - options are a must, so for the non-beer enthusiasts; couples can feature their favorite bourbons and wines through different samplings. A beverage station with an array of non-alcoholic drinks like lemonade and infused teas will please the under 21 crowd quite well.
A Taste of Texture Texture is making a comeback again, but this time, this stunning trend is hitting the cake-sphere and taking names. Ruffle and tulle textures are two major trends that will redefine the look and feel of traditional cakes. But, these two beauties aren’t the only textures to stun this year, lace and ombré will make soft and romantic appearances for those lovebirds who prefer a vintage-bohemian theme. Herringbone and three-dimensional lattice will add a nice wow factor for those contemporary wedding enthusiasts. “It used to be that the topper was accentuated by flowers, but we’re not seeing that as much as before. Instead of just having the cake topper as a focal point, we’re seeing heavy concentrations of flowers in other areas of the cake, like around the base. Flowers are now being used heavily in certain areas opposed to scattered lightly all around the cake,” said Guerrero, AIFD,CFD. www.thecitymagazineelp.com

diamond is forever, but forever doesn’t have to be boring. Many brides today are forgoing the traditional engagement ring in favor of one that fits their personality. They seek a ring that exudes elegance but also one that is slightly more memorable than the classic solitaire setting and princess cut seen everywhere. Colored engagement rings complete with hued diamonds and vibrant gemstones are becoming increasingly
popular options that provide creative opportunities to symbolize ‘I said yes.’ Celebrities like Blake Lively and Kate Middleton have been seen with their colored engagement rings pushing the boundaries and showing that different can be both trendy and beautiful.
Alternative rings offer a multitude of choices in design possibilities, because everything from the setting itself to the stone type and cut can be customized. Diamonds can be used in a wide range of colors, from yellows and pinks, to darker blues and blacks. Gemstones are also showstoppers, with choices including deep emerald greens, red wine rubies, and royal blue sapphires. Other less common gemstones that can bring beautiful pigmentation to a ring are iridescent opal, green peridot and jade, violet amethyst, and azure topaz. Champagne diamond rings are extremely popular at the moment. They can be gorgeously paired with rose or white gold. Other unique combinations include pink morganite with rose gold, sapphires and emeralds with yellow gold, and black diamonds with platinum. Purples and greens, pinks and reds, as well as blues and greens are color schemes that really stand out. Depending on the stone and the band, different styles can be achieved. Blake Lively’s light pink oval diamond ring screams vintage. Kate Middleton’s engagement ring epitomizes classy, with a deep blue sapphire stone surrounded by smaller www.thecitymagazineelp.com

white diamonds. To achieve the colored engagement ring style locally, Briana Gartin, of Ben Bridge Jeweler advises to “trust the company you do business with,” when seeking to create your one-of-a-kind. Gartin notes the importance of going to a gemologist because they really know stones and can help throughout the entire process. With options in every color, the limit really is one’s imagination. Colored stones can be either laboratory made or found in nature. Colored diamonds are created using one of two enhancement processes, both of which are safe for the diamond and the wearer. Irradiation colors the stone by changing its composition. The second process treats the diamond with heat to deepen the color, a method used to turn lighter diamonds into black diamonds. Both types of treated diamonds are less expensive options compared to their counterparts found in nature. Gemstones can be cheaper depending on the type, with sapphires, rubies, and emeralds fetching higher prices than most others. The price for the stones depends on the clarity, the cut, and of course, the size. The benefits of colored engagement rings are as plenty as the colors the stones and bands come in. Some brides prefer a less traditional take on the wedding ring or would like it to symbolize something meaningful to them and their future husband. The stone can be the birthstone of the bride or groom, a favorite color, or represent a memory shared between the two. A non-traditional stone can also be a more affordable option for couples hoping to get a sizable ring without spending a fortune. Colored engagement rings can also stand on their own, purely on the fact that they stand out from the crowd and are attention grabbers. “Don’t give up if you can’t find what you want: have it made and take advantage of exploring all the options,” said Susan Eisen of Susan Eisen Fine Jewelry and Watches. With colored engagement rings, the possibilities are endless. The trend is growing into a gorgeous and unique way to show you’re taken. 160

Simple Tricks to Create the Perfect Wedding Favor
| By: MEAGAN KINLEY |
As you begin to prioritize different projects before your big day, don’t forget about your wedding favors. Wedding favors, no matter how small, show guests that you value their time and that you are thankful for their attendance. And this wedding season one big trend is making favors cuter and easier than ever: the bottle. Bottling up your favors is an easy way to sign, seal and deliver something unforgettable for your guests. Bottles (and jars) are also great because of their simplicity. You can put almost anything in them and seal them up so guests can tote them around your venue as they cheer you on, eat, dance and enjoy the wedding festivities you have planned for them without worrying about spilling or harming the goods within.

personalized items may take up more time than you have – as opposed to a smaller wedding with 100 or less, where you could possibly take the time (and expense) to create something a little more intricate. Nevertheless, don’t be afraid to get it done. If you have always dreamed of creating something specific, get the girls together and make a night of it. Enticing your friends with a little wine and a chick flick while they help you bottle up your gifts maybe a sweet memory all of you can share, especially as the craze of the wedding day gets closer and special one-

fiancé are wine connoisseurs, give your attendees a taste of your favorite grape (with a personalized label of course!). If you want to offer something for the younger crowd, doing the same thing with soda is also a great alternative. Or if you love sweets, give your guests something tasty to take home and bake – it’s a sweet way to allow them to remember you and the fantastic evening they had on your big day. Don’t be afraid to heighten your theme with your favors. If you are having a beach wedding, you can bottle sand from the beach – excursions like this are usually a little more sentimental and memorable because each guest usually makes the trip into their own vacation so a sweet reminder in a bottle may be the perfect touch. Remember that offering your guests something from the place you are visiting is also a great idea. If the place you are visiting specializes in pampering items, maybe offering your attendees some fine bath salts in a bottle will add to the overall atmosphere. Or if the area you are in is known exclusively for their rich virgin olive oil, bottle it up and give it to guests to take home – and every time they cook with it, they will remember you! Remember, favors don’t have to be big, but giving your guests a little thank you will show them that you appreciate the time and their involvement in your special day. So bottle your favors and enjoy the simple joy they bring to all who take part in your wedding day. www.thecitymagazineelp.com

GROOM’S Way of
GIFTING | By: JUAN SALOMON |
A
Weddings, 2015
s a modern-day groom,
you also have responsibilities since the day she said, “yes honey, I’ll marry you!” The groom must also select his entourage and his best man so they can help him marry successfully without becoming a Groomzilla himself. Your parents and her parents will also support you financially and/or emotionally. Even though current couples are now covering up to seventy percent of their wedding’s expenses, the bride and groom are responsible for giving out thank you presents to express gratitude for all the guidance received. First and foremost, following the traditional wedding etiquette, you are obliged to give out gifts to your best man, the ushers, the groomsmen and the ring bearer (which usually is the best man, your pick).
The Survival Kit or the Groom Stash
We have all witnessed, at some point, the rise and the fall of the Bridezilla during the planning of her wedding. She meticulously selects her bachelorette party to avoid going insane, even though at some point someone just looses it. The Bridesmaids can laugh about her psycho moments later, but not five days after the wedding because it still won’t be funny to her. 172
For your entire bachelor party, a personalized survival kit would encourage all of your men to give their best because you are giving your best through these presents. Each packet should include:
1. An honest handwritten thank you card. 2. One mini bottle of the groomsman’s preferred choice of alcohol.
3. A sample of your choice of cologne (not too strong, smell it first).
4. A pack of mint gum. 5. Alka-Seltzer and Advil (for the hangover). Make sure each of them contains something different depending on the person it is for. You also have the opportunity to add an element of humor here. For example, if Larry does not drink but he is in love with Red Bull, make sure he gets two bottles of Red Bull in his kit. If you know your best man gets really bad hangovers, put a few extra Advils in his bag and maybe an airplane barf bag. And if you know that Sam is kind of a player, you might want to add some condoms and maybe a rosary too. Personalize each pack so your guys notice how thankful you are for their effort.

The Designer Cufflinks It is customary for the groom to give something noticeable for his best man, his dad, and his father-in-law. Cufflinks are a must have for the three-piece suit to be complete. Get to know more of your recipients likes and dislikes in fashion so you can give something specific and modern to all three. Aside from giving your best man a personalized survival kit, a pair of the leather zip cufflinks from Alexander McQueen might cheer him up since you found out he is into designer clothes. If you know your dad strives to look just like Pierce Brosnan whenever he wears a suit, you can give him a pair of the black and silver 007 cufflinks. Your fatherin-law only talks about how bad of a season the Lakers have had recently, and a pair of blue and yellow Lakers cufflinks will maybe make him proud again of his team.
Do Women Expect the Unexpected? Have you written your vows yet? Having them in your head does not really count. That is why a journal with the title “Reasons I want to marry you” is the ultimate gift for your bride. She will enormously care more for your words of love than anything else in the world. You will not only make her feel more in love, but it will help you reach your core and your soul and understand why you want to spend the rest of your life with her. For your mother, write her an old-fashioned letter and truly thank her for everything she has done. For your mother-in-law you also want to say thanks through an engraved necklace saying “Thank you for raising the woman of my dreams.” It cannot get more accurate than that. You are not only addressing the fact that you love her daughter but you are applauding her way of raising her children because you want to have a good relationship with her at all times, and we mean at all times. Remember that these are thank you gifts and should express gratefulness. Presents should be handed out during the rehearsal dinner or in any pre-wedding event. However, you can choose when to give them out if you want the recipient to use it at a specific time. www.thecitymagazineelp.com

hen thinking about your wedding day, it’s easy to get sidetracked by details
like your dress, centerpieces and decorations. In the fray of glitter and glitz,
you might forget that something as simple as paper is actually a big part of the
day. And honestly, the paper side of the wedding is actually one of the details your guests will remember most: after all it’s the invitations and save the dates that bring them to the event, the programs that they hold in their hands while you’re saying your vows, and details like place cards and favor tags, that direct them around your venue and ultimately what your attendees take home with them. While you guests may not notice if all of your fonts don’t coordinate or if the white of your programs doesn’t match the ivory of your invitations – going the extra mile to critically choose your paper colors, lettering and calligraphy will not only guarantee that you have fantastic mementos to take from your big day, but also that everything is unified and that your wedding perfectly encapsulates the details, and finally, ensuring that everything comes together flawlessly.

INVITING IDEAS
Weddings, 2015
So You’ve Got Good Handwriting . . . No matter the budget, paper is something that you can’t scrimp on. Honestly, the paper quality and style of your chosen fonts are truly the biggest indicators of what type of wedding you are going to be throwing. So no matter how good your handwriting is, don’t hand address your envelopes or print out cheap stickers – get professional help, make your life easier and your wedding more beautiful! With that in mind, finding a good provider/printer is the first step to wedding paper success. With prices for every wedding size, you can be sure that you are in good hands with a good printer. They will help you create your wedding invitation design template, match and coordinate your papers (and envelopes, napkins, etc.) and ensure that everything gets delivered and made without a hitch.
Traditional vs. Modern You may be thinking: “What are you talking about? Old school calligraphy is for the birds.” But the truth is, calligraphy of all styles and forms has made a wild comeback – especially for the wedding scene. Some brides opt for classic fonts while others are rolling with more contemporary looks. The more established fonts inspire vintage glamour and an older, timeless style. But another popular choice is modern calligraphy and for good reason. Modern calligraphy has taken the world by storm stretching the limits of the pen in new and unique ways – taking away the constraints of line and slant. So when choosing a font or style of calligraphy think on your theme. If you want something elegant that evokes a formal tone, choosing a cursive font with thick slant is a great way to tie up the loose ends of every word with style, grace – and just the right amount of curve. It’s also important that once you go with a look, stick with it. That doesn’t mean that there cannot be any variation in your font choices, but try to select something the fuses the look you are trying to evoke. 176

INVITING IDEAS
The Paper Choosing the style and type of your invitation paper is a big choice so when in doubt go back to your theme. If you are having a glamorous wedding with all the trimmings, silky paper with a touch of texture is the way to go. If you are having a simple, chic wedding opt for something stylish and sleek. If your wedding theme is more rustic or even outdoors, choosing an organic paper (with floral pieces woven in!) can be a great choice to incorporate a more natural feel. And remember, whatever you chose for one, try to stick to it throughout, so when choosing paper for the rest of your wedding, let your wedding invitation choice guide you. You can use the same style for your banners, menus, napkins, place cards, thank-you tags, and more!
Other Accents If you are a DIY-er, there are things you can do yourself that will still make your paper personal. If you are trying to cut the costs of having each of your envelopes done by a calligrapher compromise by having the calligrapher only write the names and addresses. For the return address, you can have a custom stamp made with sweet well wishes and accents that evoke the same style and influences of your wedding day décor. Etsy.com is a great resource for this; they will customize your lettering and can uniquely arrange how your names appear etched into the stamp. Remember, there is literally no limit to the ways you can include lettering and paper in your wedding. If you are having a destination wedding or a wedding at home but with a lot of out of town guests, ordering custom maps with personal illustrations of your venues may help your guests get around. Do you want banners or large menus at your venue? Don’t stop with the ordinary details – go big. For these items, while your printer may not be able to create them, they can send the template or style to another printer who will be able to blow them up. This goes for cake toppers too. If you have a sweet phrase that encapsulates you and your vows, order a cake topper with the words printed on it. Even simply going with your names is also a classic choice – there is simply no doubt that these trendy cake toppers are making a big scene in the wedding cake business. So with these ideas and more, go bravely into the world of paper and don’t limit yourself when it comes to using words to bring you, your guests, and your entire wedding together.

from the shoulder-length, oversized veil your mother wore in the 80s. These both contrast with the flat laying Cathedral-length veil adorned by many of our celebrity and royal brides recently. It is easy for a bride-to-be to get overwhelmed by the monotonous sea of lace and frills that can be found in bridal store after bridal store, but here to save you from drowning we uncovered some options that will free you from overdone headwear of weddings’ past.
GLISTEN WITH TRADITION If you are torn between loving the veil and it’s timehonored glory, but crave something different don’t worry, you can have it all. Find yourself a long-length standard style veil but fashion it to reflect your own individual spirit! Jewels and flowers can be added to create a personal statement. Light colors, such as yellow and periwinkle, can be added to the center of the flowers of this style to create a subtle yet whimsical effect. Finding a veil with circling and patterned threadwork can also be a pretty departure from the typical veil. You can even create your own style or have one made to meet your desire.
FLOWER CHILD There is another floral-inspired headpiece trend that has been popping up recently. If you’d prefer flowers in your hair to jewels or a long veil, fresh cut dahlias and roses weaved into a crown is a bohemian bride’s

Weddings, 2015 If you are opting for cowboy boots, cold beer, and country tunes a pickup truck could be a cute option. Think about a classic 1950s red pickup truck, complete with hay in the truck bed and a banner of gorgeous fragrant flowers that match your colors. But if hopping into a pickup truck isn’t quite your taste, but your wedding is still all-American, a bandwagon is another option that will make your guests turn their heads. Set a cute loveseat in the back of the bandwagon (if it doesn’t have a sitting option already) and enjoy all the cute pictures your guests take during your ceremony. If glam and glitz is everything you want for your wedding, then a luxury sports car is something you might want. Why not go for something bigger? If your wedding takes place in a warmer, sunnier place like the beach, a yacht is always an option as well. Imagine you and your partner surrounded by crystal clear waters and just feeling the breeze caressing you both while you approach your destination in style – and with a nice glowy tan. You may think leaving the party is as simple as tossing your bouquet near the end of your wedding celebration . . . but it isn’t. The final exit of the bride and groom has become a special and momentous photo opportunity for not only special pictures, but for making that lasting and final hoorah for all of your excited guests. Think of it as the grand finale – and as such, you don’t want to just walk out; you want to stroll out in style, making the moment the cherry on top of your perfect day. Celebration is the key here and giving your guests a task is the secret to success. For years, brides have opted to make rice sachets (only going out of style due to the environmental hazard it posed to our feathered friends) and more recently birdseed for their attendees to toss on them as they make their great escape – but times are changing and creativity is all a bloom. So for your big day, take the time to make something special, something that will end the night just right – and here are a few ideas on how to do it.

Petals and Herbs If your wedding theme is a little more natural or if your venue is outside opt for petals or herbs as your final farewell toss. Many brides love this option because it is a great way to incorporate your wedding flower one last time before the end of the night. Petals or herbs (like lavender or basil) are also wonderful because they are so fragrant. Not only will your guests throw beautiful flowers and leaves into the air, but they will also make the area smell lovely in the process! The option might also be great for the bride who chooses a fall wedding – the falling herb leaves will mirror nature and make your farewell pictures organically perfect.
For all your red carpet events wedding, quince, anniversary, corporate or school event
Ribbon Wands If your venue is a little picky when it comes to mess, ribbon wands may be the perfect option for you. These are great because you can still incorporate your own wedding colors or theme without the hassle of worrying about someone having to pick-up after the party. Ribbon wands are made by using a wooden dole rod with (long or medium) ribbons fastened to the end. For a layered look, you can even use multi colored ribbons, again making sure that the colors bring out the best of your wedding décor.

Balloons Yes, we know your wedding isn’t a little girl’s birthday party . . . but believe us when we say that balloons are making a come back. When thinking about choosing style and color, the rule is the same as it was with the confetti: the bolder the better. For a grand effect, use extra large balloons. If you are having a night wedding, another popular option is buying balloons outfitted with LED lights. Not only does the luminescence illuminate the grounds of your venue, but as you leave you and your guests will let the balloons fly, creating a truly magical effect.
Bubbles Perhaps one of the other more traditional choices, but there’s a reason for it: bubbles can also be a lot of fun for you and your wedding party. Not only are they a more venue-friendly option cleanup wise, but you can also package them up and personalize them in great and unexpected ways. The trick is getting your guests into it: if you can get enough bubbles blowing around as you and your new hubby are running out the door, the photos will be sublime! Bubbles are also a great kid-friendly option if there are a lot of children on your guest list.
Sparklers and Sky Lanterns Other spark-tacular options for your final farewell are sparklers and sky lanterns. While you will have to get this passed by your venue before committing entirely, the effect these fireworks have on the final farewell is truly fantastic. While sparklers might work during the day, these are truly best if done at night. Imagine lining up all of your family and friends and seeing the light of the sparkers shining off their faces as you wave ado to your perfect day. Or think of how enchanted sky lanterns will look as they fly away into the sweeping night sky above you.

eddings are filled with choices. From deciding
to marry the person of your dreams, to
finding the perfect show-stopping dress, to
choosing where to place your chatty aunt at the
reception, matrimony is gushing with decisions to
be made. Amongst all these choices, opportunities
to customize the day are rising. Alternative, as well
as traditional-minded couples are seeking to use their
wedding day as a way to show off who they really
are. Couples are nodding in the direction of customized
wedding cake toppers to place a unique detail that will be
lasting in the minds of guests. As important as the cake cutting ceremony, the cake topper becomes the front-runner in pictures and in person as a symbol of the couple to be. Customized wedding cake toppers are becoming ever the more popular, with simple Internet searches turning up thousands of images for these customizable decorations. Sites like The Knot and Pinterest show everything from monograms dusted in elegant colors such as white, brushed silver, and black, to a porcelain bride and groom pair dancing atop the display. There are other shapes, such as “him and her” silhouettes that offer a classy, antiquated touch, and even two lovebirds cozying up next to each other as a more romantic adornment. Materials are also as varied as the subject matter, with options like acrylic, porcelain, wood veneer, and wire being quite popular. Acrylic blocks offer etched writing or designs on a clear, almost glasslike surface. Porcelain is delicate and prominently used for figurines. Wood veneer is rustic and country, complete with “branded” initials or names. The inspiration is endless; with every nature theme, hobby, paired animal, and word like “love” or “forever,” the Mr. and Mrs. will definitely find something that suites their taste. The cake toppers also have a cultural appeal, with decorations such as sugar skulls paying homage to tradition and heritage.

wedding cake toppers
The distinct embellishments range in price, depending on the materials and simplicity of the design. Wedding cake toppers fetch anywhere between $20 and $300 online, with some of the more expensive work being large and extravagant pieces trimmed with trinkets showing the bride and groom’s respective tastes in hobbies, sports, and memories shared together. The serious pair can even send in photos of themselves to have bride and groom figurines made to their specifications so the day is even more memorable. As the wedding day comes to a close, saving the ornament as an object d’art has become common as well. Available for newlyweds are cake topper display stands that display the keepsake next to a photo of the married couple. This shows that not only are wedding cake toppers important on the day one says “I do,” they can also symbolize the moment for years to come. Wedding cake toppers are a fabulous way to personalize the couple, wow guests, and be a unique memento for the Mr. and Mrs. on the day it is all about them. www.thecitymagazineelp.com

Lucite Green, Pantone: 14-5714 Lucite Green has finally come back to fashion again this year. This hue of green works wonders when used as a detail and comes out strong yet delicate through clothing. If you feel like you want to dare and dazzle, this color is definitely the one. It brings a chilly and raw aspect to clothing so be careful when and how to use it.
Classic Blue, Pantone: 19-4052 Refined and astute, the Classic Blue is extremely reliable and can make your garments look expensive and well tailored. This hue will add an element of mystery and transcendence to your clothes and decorations.

Marsala, Pantone: 18-1438 This warm and mildly seductive tone of red-brown is the number one color of the year. The tasteful hue exudes confidence and a natural earthiness that mixes elegantly with neutrals and classic blue. Marsala radiates a full-bodied richness that will make your wedding decorations have a dramatic and memorable effect. Marsala’s fervent and deep attitude is equitably appealing for both men and women and it is flattering against many skin colors.
Glacier Gray, Pantone 14-4102 The melancholic Glacier Gray brings a timeless and sophisticated effect more in favor this year for men than for women. As a supporting shade of color, it allows other colors to flourish and shine when combined to bring an effect of contrast, while infusing a sense of effortless glamour. If grey is your color, this would be the shade to focus on this year.

CONGRATULATIONS, you’re engaged and the most exciting part of your life has officially
begun! If he just popped the question, you’re probably having trouble concentrating at work with the shine of your newest piece of jewelry beaming off your left hand. But there may be other reasons for your lack of focus. The biggest? The fact that you and your fiancé have picked a date and you have just realized there is a long to-do list bearing down on you. But even with the biggest weddings, there are ways to get everything done. Just to help you along the way, The City has come up with a foolproof three-month plan to get any wedding, big or small, just the way you’ve always dreamed.
THREE MONTHS OUT Pick a Venue: There are several items to tackle this month. Among them are most of the big-ticket items, starting with the biggest: the venue. But you can’t make a deposit until you know what you need from your venue and the first question to answer is how many people will each place you are considering accommodate. It goes without saying that the bigger the guest list, the bigger the price so make sure that you stay within your means as you think on your number. Once it’s decided, go online and narrow down your options so that you don’t waste time looking at facilities that are too big or too small to house your friends and family. Within the bigger question of venue are a few smaller, but still important choices: are you going to have the wedding and the ceremony at one site or two? Are you going to serve food? If so, hors d’oeuvres and finger foods or a full-out dinner? Does the venue have a contract with a specific catering company and if so, how much freedom do you have in choosing other vendors like the cake company or even the floral elements? A myriad of other questions will probably need to be answered once you choose a specific venue but these questions should enable you to make a final decision which will put you on the right path to solving more big ticket items and ultimately, enabling you to lock in your date and put down a deposit (see, there will be a wedding after all!). Once you have the go-ahead from your venue and the check in the bank, go ahead and also hire a caterer, cake specialist and vendors for linens, dinner wear, chairs and other dining/entertaining furniture. Again, these items may already be included at your venue, so ask, research and lock it all down. www.thecitymagazineelp.com

ladies close to the bride to wear a different color than the bridesmaids, but still walk down the aisle and assist in any tasks where the bride may need help (cake cutting, guest book managing, etc.), as well as junior bridesmaids, and a flower girl. Men have it a bit easier with a best man, a set of groomsmen and some ushers – but the key is to ask them! Both the ladies and the gentlemen you select are going to need some notice before they begin planning showers, bachelor/ bachelorette weekends and other wedding-related parties.
Order Invitations: So you have a date and your venue(s) – now it’s time to pick out your wedding invitations and other paper products. It is usually customary to give your guests some notice, so make sure you order these quick so you can send them out at the traditional twomonth mark. Using a professional printer will also ensure that you can order most of your paper needs – from place cards, napkins, favor tags, and even your thank you notes. Decide on Other Vendors: There are a few other items you are going to want for your special day and one of the most important is someone to take pictures of all the memorable moments. Ask your friends and shop around online as you begin looking for a professional photographer. Remember, each photographer has their own style and expertise, so make sure yours is willing to get you exactly what you’re looking for before you book them. Another popular option for modern brides is the inclusion of a videographer. It may seem like one of those details that you may not want in the moment, but most brides agree that being able to go back and relive the wedding in living color is something precious and beyond words. You are also going to want to consider entertainment for the night. The decision usually falls between brides choosing a DJ or a live band. There are pros and cons to both so make sure you do your research before you fully Choose a Florist: If one or both of your vendors does not provide a

Choose the Attire: You’ve probably been dying to start trying on dresses since the day he proposed – so don’t wait! The bride’s dress really and truly should be the focal point of the event so making this selection will only help solidify your personal tastes, as well as how you picture the rest of your wedding. Once you have selected your dress, choose what you want your mister to wear, his groomsmen, your bridesmaids, and any other bridal party members. Plan for Decorations: You have time to get this done . . . but the key with three months to go is making a plan. You’ve already selected a venue so think about what you could add/rent/make to personalize the space. Then sit down with your family and friends and set days aside to make favors, centerpieces, and other decoration details. Or if you are renting these aspects, make sure you set time aside to pick everything out. Simply having a plan of action intact will empower and distress you as you move toward the big day.
TWO MONTHS OUT Register: Creating a wedding registry is probably one of the less stressful aspects of wedding planning since this activity actually allows you to focus on life after the wedding, you know the whole reason why you’re going through all of this planning. So if you are feeling particularly down, get your fiancé and take the day off day dreaming and planning your nest. Plan Your Honeymoon: Now’s the time to also begin thinking about where you want to go after the party’s over. Questions to answer here include: when will you travel, where will you go, and how long will you stay? Once those are answered see about filling in the details with plane tickets, hotel rentals and other fun and relaxing activities you want to do while you are out exploring your honeymoon destination.
Make Accommodation Arrangements for Out of Town Guests: If
you or your fiancé have a lot of out of town guests coming in, make sure you call around and find a hotel where you can set a block of rooms aside for them. This is a great option because it allows all of your wedding guests to stay in the same place (sometimes creating a reunion-like celebration) and most of the time the hotels will offer rooms at a special rate. www.thecitymagazineelp.com

Buy the Rings: If you and your partner are using traditional rings in
your ceremony, now’s the time to make a move and purchase them. If the bridal wedding band was already purchased with the engagement rings, just make sure you also take care of the groom’s wedding band. Mail the Invitations: Hopefully your invitations came in and you’ve had time to enlist the help of a calligrapher to help you address them. Now it’s time to send them out and officially invite your guests to the big day. Plan the Ceremony: Around this time, your officiant will probably contact you to plan the ceremony. Before you get together start thinking about if you are going to want any special readings? Communion? Or other traditional (or non traditional!) elements that you are going to

The Wedding Singer This is an Adam Sandler classic that I highly suggest you start with. It’s a story about a wedding singer and a waitress who meet when the timing is all wrong (they’re both already engaged!). Set in the 80’s, this film has everything: lace, big hair, jean jackets, Billy Idol, the lovely Drew Barrymore, and a very epic serenade. If, for some odd reason, you haven’t already watched this movie, what are you waiting for? There’s a reason that both Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore were nominated for “Funniest Actress/Actor” for this film.
My Big Fat Greek Wedding Toula works in her family’s Greek restaurant and lives a very sheltered life. When she meets Ian Miller, a non-Greek man, she falls in love and her father will not give his blessing. This is a heartwarming film about acceptance, love, family, and yes, a big fat Greek wedding.
My Best Friend’s Wedding Julia Roberts comes a long way from Pretty Woman. A pact by two friends promises a marriage if the two don’t find love by the time they turn thirty. Her emotions are all over the place, when on her thirtieth birthday, she gets invited to her best friend’s wedding. A movie with a classic karaoke scene from Cameron Diaz, you’ll want to gather your bridesmaids for a movie night to watch this one.
I Love You, Man This is one that both the soon-to-be bride and groom can enjoy together. A comedy that will have you repeating the lines, it is a movie about a groom in search of groomsmen once he realizes his lack of friends. The cast in this movie are also really great. You can never go wrong with Paul Rudd, Jason Segel, or Rashida Jones. Bonus: you will gain abs just from laughing throughout this movie.

Father of the Bride (1991) A super cute movie about a father who is reluctant to give away his daughter to be married. Although it is a remake, this Steve Martin version will have you thinking about how your father will be feeling on the days leading up to your wedding (or how your fiancé’s father will be feeling). You might also relate to this movie as the family goes through all of the preparations for the big event.
27 Dresses This is a romantic comedy that should already be in your DVD collection. Jane’s closet is overflowing with twenty-seven bridesmaids dresses that she’s accumulated over the years. Her life really does seem to be in accordance with the saying, “Always a bridesmaid, never a bride”. A drunken “Bennie and the Jets” sing-a-long performance by Katherine Heigl and James Marsden is also a must-see (do you sense a theme going on here?). So, does she end up getting married? At least you know you are!
Monster in Law Charlie works many odd jobs to keep her eccentric life anything but boring. Her search for a partner, however, has been very unrewarding. When Mr. Right finally comes along, so does his mother. As Charlie plans for the wedding, her soon-to-be mother in-law proves herself to be a mother inlaw from hell. Enjoy the movie knowing that your in-laws aren’t this bad!

Bridesmaids Maya Rudolph, Kristin Wiig, and Melissa McCarthy; a power cast of females is what this movie is. As this group of bridesmaids go through bridal dinners, dress fittings, and a bridal shower, moods and friendships are tested. Ladies: this is another movie you’ll want to invite your bridesmaids over for. You’ll be crying at the end from laughing so hard. Gentleman: You can definitely sit through this with your fiancé. The both of you will appreciate the humor.
Royal Wedding (1951) You can’t have a list of wedding movies without a mention of this 1950’s Fred Astaire classic. If you haven’t started your couple’s dancing lessons, what’s stopping you? Fred Astaire performs one of his most popular dance numbers in this film, dancing on the walls and ceilings. Different from the others on this list because it is a musical, you might end up singing and dancing around before you get back to planning your own royal wedding.
Sex and The City Last, but not least, a movie for the fashion lover. This TV-series-turned-major-Blockbuster is a must-see as you relax for your wedding. After a long search and many ups and downs, Carrie Bradshaw is finally getting married. Even if you didn’t follow the TV series, you’ll want to catch this movie and the incredible wedding dresses it features.

YOUR FINANCIAL PARTNERSHIP
| By: MICHAEL C. GRAHAM, J.D., CLTC, AIF, PRESIDENT, GRAHAM CAPITAL STRATEGIES, LLC |
If you are reading this article, it is probably a safe bet to assume that you are either newly married, engaged, or thinking about getting married. So, regardless of which category you are in, congratulations! I can speak from personal experience as to the power and joy of a healthy marriage. However, I am also a planning professional, and my advisors and I see some common pitfalls affecting new couples, and I wanted to take a few moments to pass on some good guidance to help ensure that your financial partnership is as strong as your emotional one. Given the choice, none of us would choose to learn about financial issues during a crisis like job loss, the injury or death of a spouse, or even divorce. However, that’s what many of us do. Sometimes, we think we’re helping our partner when we handle the finances alone. But nothing could be further Michael C. from the truth. Like any business partnership, your partner in home finances needs to know how to carry on in case you die or become disabled. It takes more than having a credit card in your name or knowing your net worth to control your

finances. At a minimum, you and your new spouse should work to each have the following: • A loan in your name that establishes a credit history • Individual and joint savings and investment goals • Your own income replacement plan in case of disability • Your own financial strategy for retirement
Pat Graham, CLU, CFP ® Chief Executive Officer
• An understanding of joint Social Security and pension benefits for both you and your spouse • Make sure that you and your spouse are taking full advantage of any benefits available through your jobs, including life and disability protection, as well as any medical or dental coverage, and any

retirement benefits. As the saying goes, do not leave any money on the table, so make sure you are taking advantage of any retirement plan contribution that your employer may offer. You and your spouse should discuss the financial issues that you normally do yourself. Cover what you do month-to-month, why you do it and where you keep the records. And don’t forget any stocks, bonds, mutual funds, CDs, and life insurance or disability income policies you may have.
Oscar Lopez In addition to short-term issues, review the big picture – long-term asset growth. Don’t make the common mistake of confusing day-to-day money management with building your savings. make sure that you are both involved in the decision to take on any debt, whether for a car or a house or another significant purchase. It is scary how fast those obligations can cut into your monthly cash flow. Many of us are reluctant to even think about a disability or death – let alone actually doing something about it. Procrastination can literally leave you without the nest egg and safety net you need. Take advantage of finance classes, investment clubs and public seminars. The internet can also be a solid source of basic information, although it is no substitute for personal, professional advice, so consider establishing a relationship with an advisor that you can trust. It is never too early to start. Don’t leave your spouse in the dark when he or she is least able to cope. By sharing and preparing now, your partner can avoid the struggle with an unfamiliar financial jungle later. But for now, congratulations on the new phase of your life! We wish you blessings and good fortune together.
