ara muchos, son seres mágicos que nos atraen de una manera inexplicable. Simplemente lo tenemos en la sangre y no podemos dejar de pensar y hablar de ellos. Verlos a los ojos, darles una zanahoria, montarlos, caminar, trotar, galopar, saltar o simplemente cuidarlos, peinarlos, bañarlos, sacarlos a pasear, que coman pasto y nos hagan salir de nuestra vida cotidiana para compartir una conexión que sólo algunos entendemos. Desde pequeña estuve fascinada con ellos y creo profundamente que es algo que he tenido por dentro desde que nací. Ahora no veo mi vida lejos de los caballos. Cada uno llega en un momento, para enseñarte algo, si te das la oportunidad de aprenderlo. Los caballos poseen el don de influir positivamente en el carácter y la actitud de las personas con las que en-

o many people, they are magic beings that attract us in an inexplicable way. Simply, we have it in our blood and we can’t stop thinking and talking about them. Seeing to their eyes, giving them a carrot, riding them, walking, jogging, galloping, jumping or simply taking care of them, combing and bathing them, taking a walk, for them to eat grass and take us out from our daily life to share a bond only a few can understand. Since I was little I was fascinated with them and I deeply believe is something I had inside since I was born. Now I don’t see my life away from horses. La equitación beneficia psíquica y físicamente a aquellos que la practican. Gracias a la afición que genera, muchos de nuestros jinetes han dejado a un lado los celulares y videojuegos para estar en contacto con estos animales, disfrutando de la naturaleza y el aire libre. Al montar desarrollamos coordinación, sensibilidad, motricidad y la capacidad de concentración. Es un deporte que favorece el desarrollo integral del cuerpo y, a diferencia de muchos otros deportes, genera un desarrollo bilateral y simétrico. Uno de los objetivos principales de nuestro hípico, es que cada uno de nuestros jinetes alcance un entendimiento armonioso con los caballos. Es claro, que se enseñan técnicas, pero en el fondo lo que buscamos es trasmitir un lenguaje que permita comunicarnos, para compartir con ellos, para lograr los objetivos personales que cada quien tenga, desde llegar a competir de manera nacional e internacional hasta pasar un buen rato con sus compañeros, compartiendo un amor mutuo por ese gran ser… el caballo.

Horse riding benefits psychic and physically to those who practice it. Thanks to the avocation it generates, many of our horsemen have left their cellphones aside and videogames to be in touch with these animals, enjoying nature and fresh air. By riding we develop coordination, sensitivity, motor skills and the capacity of concentration. It is a sport that favors the integral development of the body and, unlike other sports, it generates a bilateral and symmetric development. One of the main goals of our equestrian, is that each one of our horsemen reach a harmonious understanding with horses. Is clear that we can teach techniques, but deep inside what we’re looking for is to transmit a language that allows us to communicate with them, to share with them, to achieve the personal goals of each person, from a national and international competition to spend a good time with your buddies, sharing a mutual love for that great being… the horse.

Transformar Educando A.C. ha recibido por segundo año consecutivo el apoyo de la Asociación de Colonos y de Fundación Dolphin Discovery obteniendo el año pasado un donativo de $85,000 pesos con los cuales se pudo construir una cancha multicultural y deportiva que beneficia a 300 alumnos del poblado. Este año el donativo será de $100,700 pesos y serán empleados en la implementación de un taller de cerámica que favorecerá el desarrollo de habilidades de aprendizaje fomentando el arte y la integración de personas con diferentes capacidades. Agradecemos profundamente el invaluable apoyo de la comunidad, de nuestros amigos y voluntarios que no solamente participan en la carrera, sino que patrocinan a nuestros alumnos para que puedan participar y de esta manera motivarlos para mejorar su salud a través del deporte. Es una convivencia familiar que une los dos lados de Puerto Aventuras y nos ayuda a sumar cada vez más apoyos al dar a conocer la importante labor que se realiza en nuestro centro. Agradecemos a Hotel Dreams Puerto Aventuras quien este año se suma a apoyarnos y patrocinó 60 alumnos nuestros. Latitude 20, Restaurante Hippo, Café Ole, entre muchos amigos que hacen posible transformar educando.
“Transformar Educando”, A.C. has received, for second year in a row, the support of the Neighbors Association and from the Dolphin Discovery Foundation getting, last year, a donation of $85,000 pesos with which they could build a multicultural and sports court and that benefits to 300 students from the town. This year the donation will be of $100,700 pesos and will be used for the implementation of a ceramic workshop that will favors the development of learning skills, promoting art and the integration of people with different abilities. We are deeply thankful for the invaluable support from the community, our friends and volunteers who not only participate in the race, but sponsor to our students so they can participate and this way encourage them to improve their health through sports. It is a family gathering which joins both sides of Puerto Aventuras and help us to add even more supports by showing the important work we do in our center.
