Athlete of the Week
Jan Bach ‘26
Frozen Tide, Junior, defenseman Jan Bach is this week’s Athlete of the Week. Jan scored a dramatic OT winning goal against first place Spring-Ford to cap an critical Friday night 6-5 win for the team.
Bach finished the game with two goals and was the lone goal scorer in Devon’s game vs. Perkiomen Valley one game prior.
As a defenseman, having a primary responsibility of defending his own net has not held Bach back from scoring a goal in every Frozen Tide game since returning from a shoulder injury in December.
His insane speed, effortless skating, remarkable skillset and heavy shot have been heavy assets for Devon Prep’s blueline this season. Roll Tide!
