Patricia was the daughter of the late Elder Abram and Alberta Ellis, who instilled the Godly principles that she fashioned her life after. Patricia received her formal education in the DC public school system where she excelled in her studies and loved to participate in after school activities like the arts, sports, and of course anything involving her close group of friends. She remained a faithful servant of God, attendee of church services, and member of the Usher Board until her sickness prevented her from continuing in such a capacity. In her leisure Patricia enjoyed doing word find puzzles, cooking, watching her favorite television shows, listening to music and dancing. Patricia was the glue that held her family together. She was always willing to encourage others, pray for them, and love on them. It has been said that her hugs could cure the worst day for anyone.
