Please note that all of the courses in this booklet are subject to change or cancellation depending on interest The booklet should be used when discussing course choices with targeted young people only and should not be out on general distribution All young people must complete a paper application form and have a parental consent form signed, in line with the deadlines outlined overleaf. These forms will be available to school staff by 12th March Staff must fill out an e-referral form for every young person. These will be issued via email on 12th March Staff making referrals should ensure they have read the criteria table issued with this booklet If a young person is put forward for and is accepted to a course, school staff must keep in regular contact with a named person from the course being delivered. It will be the school’s responsibility to give a named member of staff to each of the course providers to whom attendance, behaviour issues—and importantly—positive developments with young people will be reported It is expected that other subject teachers are made aware that the young people are on these courses and ask about them and positively re-enforce the work the young people are doing outside the traditional school timetable Any questions or queries should be directed to Jacqui McCrea jmccrea@eastlothian.gov.uk
