Today I am going to be talking about a topic that I think is very essential if you want to grow your business.
But first I want your agreement on something:
1. Do you agree that you have only 24 hours in a day?
2. Do you also agree that you can only get a limited amount of work done in a day?
If you answered yes to both question (kind a obvious but I had to setup this base) then you’d also agree that you can either spend those hours on (a) activities that make you major money for time invested OR (b) activities that make you minor money for time invested.

If you are so smart already, why do you waste so much time on minor things that you can get a cheap virtual assistant to do for you?
Why not spend time on activities that make you the major bucks? After all, we all have 24 hours in a day. The only difference between those who make major money and those who fail is WHAT THEY FOCUS THEIR TIME ON!

DO NOT do these if you respect your time. If you’re just starting out and learning, you may do them for some time until you get a hold of things and/or can afford to hire outside help to take it completely off of your hands:

Customer Service; Graphic Designs; Scheduling on Calendars; Editing Videos; Editing Blog Posts; Blog Management; Formatting; etc.
I focus on writing this blog, I don’t bog myself down with the responsibility of formatting, designing etc. Because I know that will probably take at least 2-3 hours and my time is worth more. I can probably do another high value task in that time. SO I AVOID IT!
It’s all about your priorities, set them right!
$100 Tasks:

I do them on and off but I try to minimize my time investment in my business so that I can one fine day, enjoy getting mad drunk without having to worry about my business. Also, sleep in on weekdays while my business continues to grow and make me money.
Here are some $100 tasks:
Emailing the subscribers (I write my emails for the DigiFloss Tribe but the queue is done by my team); Doing research for an amazing blog post I should write; Run surveys and arrive at a conclusion that helps me grow my business; Manage paid ads, in my case it is: FB Ads, Solo Ads and banner ads; Split Testing Optin Pages;

And then there are tasks that require you major attention which is where I want to focus the most on and so should you. They are the $1,000 Tasks:
$1,000 Tasks:
When you reach a stage in your business where you just need to focus on this, you’re setting yourself up for major success. I sometimes even outsource these tasks to people who are better than I am at this, but if everything is taken care of, these are the skills that pay your bills online.

Focus on these to get the major bang for your time invested:
Creating new products/services; Copywriting – Sales letters, optin pages, funnel design, add to cart pages etc.; Optimizing the sales funnels; Adding new products to the sales funnel; Creating systems and processes that streamline activities; Hiring talent that will grow your company and business etc.
In the perfect world I would focus only on creating systems and processes because everything else can be taken care of by other experts that you can hire for a fee.
….but alas! We live in an imperfect world and therefore I find myself struggling to spend major time on $100 and $1000 tasks but have promised myself NEVER TO WASTE TIME ON $10 TASKS!

You don’t even need a monthly commitment for most $10 jobs, just go to Fiverr.com and hire some help and get the job done. Train yourself to spend major time on major things and not major time on minor things!
Conclusion:
(a) Respect your time;
(b) Don’t spend major time on minor things;
(c) Hire help, you only have 24 hours in a day;
(d) If for some reason you’re stuck at $10 jobs, move fast and when you grow, focus on giving the top priority to $100 and $1000 tasks.
