I am going to talk about how to sell without acting like an asshole‌.. People are buying stuff all the time, if not from you, from someone else.
Why? Because there are only a couple of reasons people don’y buy from you and that is what I am going to teach you in this info dispatch.

1. Trust People buy from others they trust. Think about it, if your friend came to you and recommended a product and a total stranger did the same; who would you buy from?
You won’t ever be against the idea of buying from someone you trust, however, if it were a complete stranger you’ll fight nail & tooth to avoid BEING SOLD TO!

Solution: Build a relationship with everyone you come in contact with online and offline. If people know, like and trust you; they are more likely to buy from you. If you’re an email marketer the relationship would be through emails. If you’re a blogger through your blog and so on.
2. Quality: Let’s say you want to make affiliate commissions; what would be the best route LONG TERM?
(a) Sending blatant promotional emails every single day; OR (b) Sending only quality promotional material? If you said (a) Congrats, you’re an asshole….lol. The correct answer is (b).

Now even though promotional emails have their own place and I’ve done blatant promos in the past (not proud of it), I am TELLING you that (b) is the only right way to do it.
It is long term, people trust you more, respect you more and buy from you easily because they know you’re not going to take them for a ride….
Solution: Don’t recommend stuff that you wouldn’t yourself put your name on, just for making a quick buck.

In the long term it is going to be a big LOSS! and I’m sure you wouldn’t want that.
3. Reputation: It takes years to build a good reputation and just 1 bad move to spoil it forever. Always, Always, Always use affiliate products as an income source if you’re 100% convinced that the product is going to help the buyer.
….if you have the slightest bit of doubt, don’t put your name on it. Trust me on this; you’ll make far more money being authentic and genuince.
People will even buy high end stuff from you because you have a good reputation for giving out the best information only and that makes you trustworthy.

4. Don’t Use Standard Swipes: Let’s say you decide to promote a product as an affiliate, never use the standard swipes they provide. That is what the LAZY BUMS do, you’re not a lazy bum. YOU ARE A MARKETER who wants to stand out from the market and make an impact.
….you’re a winner!
Everybody and their mother is using the standard swipes which not only results in the same swipe being seen by thousands of people but also tells your subscribers that you don’t really give a shit…. All you care about is MONEY!

And you certainly don’t want that….. Writing a swipe takes less than 15-20 minutes so there is no reason why you shouldn’t do it. You could even use some other similar products swipe if it suits the product, even that is better than using the standard swipe.
Solution: Write your own swipes, there is nothing worse than making your customers think that all you care about is their money. And using the standard swipe does just that.
5. Support: As mentioned earlier, if you put your name on the product, make sure it is top notch quality and you’re actually going to support it.
IF you were the affiliate just be nice and act as the linking pin between the buyer (who bought because you recommended it) and the product vendor. This will go a long long way in your relationship

If you sold your own product, then support is YOUR DUTY! You owe it to the people who spent money with you. If you can’t support your own products, don’t sell them. Simple!
Solution: Install a simple support desk software – Use a free one like OS Ticket and you have a professional support system in place.
That is it, if you nail these 5 things down, you’re going to be a good non-salesly, TRUSTABLE marketer :) Now I am sure I am missing a

Conclusion: 1. Build relationships with your customers, prospects and your online marketing friends.
2. Only send top notch quality stuff to everyone and build a reputation for being an honest trustworthy marketer.
3. Don’t be lazy, if you work harder than everyone else, you’re going to make more money than everyone else. Simple!
4. Provide good support, you owe it to the people who pay your bills (by buying what you sell).
