Seal of Good Local Governance
In furtherance of the Performance Oversight, Incentives, Recognition and Awards Program of the Department for LGUs, the Local Governance Performance Management System and the Seal of Good Local Governance (LGPMS-SGLG) are being sustained as vital components in realizing the pursuit for better performance and service delivery in the localities. For this year, 12 municipalities from the Cordillera Region were conferred with the SGLG last November 04, 2019 at the Fiesta Pavilion, Manila Hotel.
From the 3 + 1 assessment criteria in 2014, the overall assessment criteria in 2018-2019 is still “ALLIN” although there were scaled-up indicators from last year. This means that for an LGU to be SGLG passer, it must meet all the minimum requirements in the areas of Financial Administration, Disaster Preparedness, Social Protection, Peace and Order, Business Friendliness and Competitiveness, Environmental Management, and Tourism , Culture and the Arts.
