DILG-CAR gets recommended for Bronze Award
DILG – CAR was recognized to have met the requirements for maturity Level II of the Civil Service Commission’s Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME – HRM) after being assessed in all its four core HR systems, namely:

Through the unwavering support of the personnel spearheaded by ARD Araceli A. San Jose, DILG – CAR was recognized by the Civil Service Commission - Cordillera Administrative Region (CSC-CAR). The Certificates of Recognition was received by RD Marlo L. Iringan and Administrative Officer IV Chrysantine C. Ged-ang on December 4, 2019 at the Baguio Country Club, Baguio City during the 18th Regional Conference of HRMPs in CAR.
On December 17, 2019, a CSC team headed by Chief Human Resource Specialist Teresita C. Biteng conducted a validation to determine the alignment of the agency’s practices with the established systems. An interview with the agency’s top and middle management headed by RD Iringan and representatives from the rank-and-file were conducted. DILG-CAR was considered eligible and was recommended for the Bronze Award under the PRIME-HRM.
PRIME-HRM integrates and enhances the Personnel Management Assessment and Assistance Program (PMAAP) and the CSC Agency Accreditation Program (CSCAAP). It is a mechanism that empowers government agencies by developing their human resource management competencies, systems, and practices toward HR excellence. It also entails greater engagement not just of the human resource management officer (HRMO) but also of the officials and the rank-and-file employees of the agency.
