Assistance to Municipalities

A total of PHP547.2 million was allocated to the Cordillera in 2018 under Assistance to Municipalities (AM) program of the Department.

Of the PHP547.2 million budget allocated in the region; PHP159.6 million in Abra, PHP54.5 million in Apayao, PHP114.6 million in Benguet, PHP79.1 million in Ifugao, PHP39.7 million in Kalinga and PHP99.6 million in Mountain Province.

Meanwhile, PHP624.1 million was allocated in 2019 and broken down as follows; PHP200.3 million in Abra, PHP61. 8 million in Apayao, PHP132.4 million in Benguet, PHP91.9 million in Ifugao, PHP51.2 million in Kalinga, and PHP86.4 million in Mountain Province.

The AM seeks to equitably assist all municipalities in the delivery of basic services by providing financial subsidy to municipalities in the implementation of their priority programs and projects.
