Numerous events enliven the spacious Piazza Lago and the characteristic courtyards of the centre throughout the year. If in June Caslano fills with visitors for the Blues Festival, as autumn approaches it is the Festival of the Courtyards that brings the most picturesque corners of its historic centre to life.

Young visitors will quickly learn to love nature walks, the numerous playgrounds, the proximity of the Zoo al Maglio, a miniature golf course with trampolines and the rich municipal library. A relaxing moment by the lake with an ice cream is also always welcome.

I giovani visitatori impareranno presto ad amare le passeggiate nella natura, i numerosi parchi giochi, la vicinanza dello Zoo al Maglio, un minigolf con trampolini e la ricca biblioteca comunale. In addition to its fine natural surroundings, Caslano boasts a rich historical and artistic heritage, ranging from the Renaissance frescoes of the B.V. alla Magliasina chapel to the architecture of its typical grotti. Also noteworthy are the traces of its industrial past, linked to lime production.

Caslano ist eine besonders familienfreundliche Gemeinde. Caslano est une commune adaptée aux familles. Les jeunes visiteurs apprendront très vite à aimer les promenades dans la nature, les nombreux parcs de jeu, le Zoo al Maglio tout proche, le minigolf avec son trampoline et la bibliothèque communale bien fournie. Un moment de détente au bord du lac en dégustant une bonne glace est aussi un moment très apprécié.

En plus de son précieux patrimoine naturel, Caslano se targue d'un riche patrimoine historique et artistique qui s'étend des fresques renaissance de la chapelle Beata Vergine à la Magliasina à l'architecture de ses grottos typiques. Les traces de son passé industriel lié à la production de la chaux sont aussi dignes d'intérêt.

The museum is dedicated to the work of the Caslano painter Sergio Maina (1913-2009) and offers temporary exhibitions dedicated to artists who have had contact with Ticino. In addition, it operates as an art gallery with an international network of contacts.

A fascinating exhibition starting from fishing in prehistoric times up to the present day, touching on various topics such as boat building, the fish trade, net making, and the fish species found in our rivers and lakes in a modern, relaxed setting near the lake.

Un percorso espositivo che parte dalla pesca nella preistoria fino ai giorni nostri, toccando vari argomenti come la costruzione delle barche, il commercio del pesce, la fabbricazione delle reti, le specie ittiche presenti nei nostri fiumi e laghi in un ambiente moderno e rilassante in prossimità del lago.
Das Museum ist dem Werk des Malers Sergio Maina (1913-2009) aus Caslano gewidmet und bietet Wechselausstellungen zu Künstlern, die eine Verbindung zum Tessin hatten. Darüber hinaus betreibt es eine Kunstgalerie mit einem internationalen Netzwerk von Kontakten.
Le musée est dédié aux œuvres du peintre de Caslano Sergio Maina (1913-2009) et propose des expositions temporaires dédiées à des artistes qui ont été en contact avec la réalité tessinoise. Il fait aussi office de galerie d'art dotée d'un réseau de contacts internationaux.

Eine faszinierende Ausstellung, die vom Fischfang in prähistorischer Zeit bis in die Gegenwart reicht und verschiedene Themen wie Bootsbau, Fischhandel, Netzherstellung und die in unseren Flüssen und Seen vorkommenden Fischarten in einem modernen, entspannten Ambiente am See behandelt.
Le musée offre une exposition passionnante dans une atmosphère relaxante à proximité du lac. Le parcours d'exposition part de la pêche préhistorique jusqu'à la pêche actuelle et aborde divers thèmes, tels que la construction des bateaux, le commerce de la pêche, la fabrication des filets et les espèces de poisson présentes dans nos lacs et nos rivières.

The museum explores all aspects of a time-honoured product. In the factory, visitors can observe the various stages of chocolate production. Not to be missed is a stop at the “Nostalgia” shop for a taste of the rich variety of Alprose production.

The popular tour of Monte Caslano suitable for all ages, allows visitors to enjoy the nature, lakeshore and cultural heritage of Caslano along the 4 kilometres of roads and paths along the Sassalto peninsula. A pleasant stop at one of the many grotti and restaurants overlooking the lake is recommended.
Il popolare giro del Monte, adatto a tutte le età, permette di ammirare la natura, le rive del lago e il patrimonio culturale di Caslano percorrendo i 4 chilometri di strade e sentieri che costeggiano la penisola del Sassalto. È raccomandata una piacevole sosta in uno dei numerosi grotti e ristoranti che si affacciano sul lago.
The Monte Sassalto is a protected natural landscape that brings together, in a small but attractive area, geological and botanical elements that form a valuable synthesis of the natural landscape of the entire region. An educational trail, signposted and equipped with 15 boards, allows the most interesting aspects to be enjoyed.

Der beliebte Rundgang “Giro del Monte” ist für alle Altersgruppen geeignet. Auf 4 km um die Halbinsel Sassalto können die Besucher die Natur, das Seeufer und das kulturelle Erbe von Caslano geniessen. Besonders empfehlenswert ist eine gemütliche Einkehr in eines der Grotti und Restaurants mit Blick auf den See.
