Benvenuti
The region of Lugano hosts numerous events all year round, satisfying the widest range of preferences. The winter season is marked by performances and concerts that are held in various halls, while from spring to autumn the fun is mainly outdoors. During the summer concerts, music for all tastes, literature, entertainment, theatre, dance, movie, shows for children, urban art installations invade the streets, squares and public parks transforming the city into an intense meeting of artists, public, entertainment and culture seekers.
La regione di Lugano ospita numerosi eventi durante tutto l’arco dell’anno che soddisfano un ampio spettro di gusti. La stagione invernale è caratterizzata da performances e concerti nei teatri e nelle sale del territorio, mentre dalla primavera all’autunno il divertimento è all’aperto. In estate le strade, le piazze e i parchi pubblici trasformano la città in un intenso luogo di scambio di artisti, di pubblico e di amanti della cultura. Il programma è sempre ricco di concerti, musica per tutti i gusti, letteratura, divertimento, teatri, danza, cinema spettacoli per bambini e installazioni di arte urbana.

In der Region Lugano finden das ganze Jahr hindurch zahlreiche Veranstaltungen statt, die den unterschiedlichsten Geschmäckern gerecht werden. Die Wintersaison ist geprägt von Aufführungen und Konzerten in Theatern und Hallen des Territoriums, während von Frühling bis Herbst der Spass draussen ist. Im Sommer verwandeln die Strassen, Plätze und öffentlichen Parks die Stadt in einen Ort des intensiven Austauschs für Künstler, Publikum und Kulturliebhaber. Das Programm ist immer reich an Konzerten, Musik für jeden Geschmack, Literatur, Unterhaltung, Theater, Tanz, Kinovorführungen für Kinder und urbanen Kunstinstallationen.
La région de Lugano accueille de nombreux événements tout au long de l’année aptes à satisfaire tous les goûts. La saison d’hiver est marquée par des spectacles et des concerts dans les théâtres et les salles de la région, tandis que du printemps à l’automne, les manifestations sont plutôt à ciel ouvert. En été, les rues, les places et les parcs publics transforment la ville en un lieu d’échange intense pour les artistes, le public et les amoureux de la culture. Le vaste programme propose de nombreux concerts, de la musique en tous genres, de la littérature, des divertissements, du théâtre, de la danse, du cinéma, des spectacles pour les enfants et des installations d’art urbain. 5

Throughout the year, there are numerous celebrations and festivals all over the region. In summer, the arts come together in some unexpected places: on the Lugano Lakeside, in courtyards, in urban places, in parks and gardens temporarily transformed for a concert or a performance.
Durante tutto l’arco dell’anno la regione ospita numerose feste e festivals dedicati agli amanti della musica. In estate, le note musicali sono ospitate in affascinanti e inusuali locations: sul lungolago, nelle corti antiche, nelle piazze cittadine, nei parchi e nei giardini trasformati per l’occasione in veri e proprie arene per concerti.

Within the international landscape, OSI has been able to carve itself out a reputation as one of Europe’s leading orchestras. It is one of the 14 professional orchestras in Switzerland and its performances are divided between regional concert, for local and abroad.

Dans le panorama international, l’OSI a su se faire reconnaitre au niveau européen comme un orchestre de très haute qualité. C’est un des 14 orchestres professionels de Suisse. Ses activités se divisent entre saisons de concerts régionales, pour la population et dans les autres regions.

A musical season dedicated primarily to classical music but open to other art forms as well. The programme features the world’s leading symphony orchestras performing repertoires intended for large orchestras and hence with very wide expressive ranges.

Festival, raduni e rassegne di ogni tipo per andare in contro ai gusti di tutti: durante l’anno Lugano fa da sfondo a un’eccezionale varietà di incontri che spaziano dai concerti rock alle sfilate di moto passando per il circo e il cinema all’aperto.
