Lugano con il lago e le sue valli propone un ventaglio ampio e articolato di motivi per un soggiorno. Gran parte delle fortune turistiche derivano dal clima temperato, favorito dalla presenza di stagioni miti e da un’alta percentuale di giornate soleggiate. La salvaguardia del territorio e i pregi del paesaggio equamente suddiviso tra cime, montagne, vallate, colline e pianura garantiscono condizioni di soggiorno ottimali in tutte le stagioni dell’anno, secondo possibilità di scelta molto ampie: dalla pratica del mountain bike all’escursionismo, dalla balneazione alla pratica di tutti gli sport, dall’attività economico-finanziaria allo shopping. Il Luganese ha anche diverse proposte culturali: molti musei, una costante offerta di spettacoli e di concerti, e la possibilità di godersi uno spettacolo architettonico a cielo aperto.

Der touristische Erfolg ist vorwiegend auf das milde Klima zurückzuführen, begünstigt durch einen See, milde Jahreszeiten und viele sonnige Tage. Der Schutz der Landschaft sowie die Vorzüge einer Vielfalt von Gipfeln, Bergen, Tälern, Hügeln und Ebenen, garantieren optimale Bedingungen während aller Jahreszeiten je nach der Auswahl, die man trifft: Mountain Bike und Bergwanderungen gehören ebenso dazu wie Badefreuden im See oder in Schwimmbädern und Sportaktivitäten aller Art; dazu kommen Wanderungen über Land und durch weitgehend intakte Dörfer. Die Region bietet auch viele kulturelle Angebote: viele Museen, Veranstaltungen und Konzerte und auch die Möglichkeit einen architektonischen «Freiluftspektakel» zu geniessen.

Lugano avec le lac et ses vallées propose beaucoup de bonnes raisons pour un séjour. L’attrait touristique de la région de Lugano est dû à son climat tempéré, favorisé par la présence du lac, la douceur des saisons ainsi qu’un fort pourcentage de journées ensoleillées. Le soin mis à la protection du territoire et les beautés du paysage répartis entre les sommets, montagnes, vallées, collines et plaines sont le garant de conditions de séjour optimales en toute saison et de vastes possibilités de choix : des joies du mountain bike aux excursions sur des sommets ; des plaisirs balnéaires dans le lac et les piscines à la pratique de tous les sports ; des promenades dans les campagnes et les villages presque entièrement sauvegardés. La région de Lugano offre aussi de nombreux musées, des spectacles et des concerts, et la possibilité d’apprécier un spectacle architectural en plein air.

Lugano with the lake and its valleys offers a wide and varied range of good reasons for a stay. Much of its success as a centre of tourism derives from its temperate climate, moderated by the presence of the lake, with mild winters and a high proportion of sunny days. The landscape has not been spoilt by excessive urbanisation, and its natural balance of summits, mountain, valleys, hills and lowland makes it an agreeable place to be in any season, offering a wide range of things to do: mountain bike and mountain climbing, bathing in lake and swimming pool, playing tennis or golf, sailing, windsurfing, water-skiing, walking through virtually unspoilt countryside and villages, as well as doing essential business and shopping. The region of Lugano offers many museums, a constant stream of concerts and events, and the opportunity to enjoy an architectural-openair show.

Gandria Romantico villaggio di pescatori, arroccato ai piedi del Monte Brè, offre al visitatore uno stupendo panorama. Chiusa al traffico, Gandria è un’oasi di tranquillità con le sue pittoresche viuzze e scalette. È raggiungibile in automobile, in battello, in bus oppure a piedi da Castagnola-San Domenico percorrendo in mezz’ora un facile sentiero che costeggia il lago.

Gandria liegt am östlichen Ufer des verzweigten Luganersees und ist mit dem Schiff, mit dem Autobus, mit dem Auto, oder auf einem romantischen Uferweg zu Fuss ab Castagnola-San Domenico innert 30 Minuten erreichbar. Dieses sehenswerte Fischerdorf ist verkehrsfrei, hat viele Treppen, winklige Gässchen, kleine Höfe, Souvenirgeschäfte und einladende Terrassenrestaurants.

Gandria est situé au pied du Monte Brè directement au bord du lac de Lugano. Le village est accroché au rocher et offre toute une suite de portiques très pittoresques. On peut s’y rendre en voiture, en autocar ou en bateau. De Castagnola-San Domenico un sentier romantique, longeant le bord du lac, conduit à Gandria en trente minutes.

Gandria is an unspoiled, picturesque lakeside village at the foot of Monte Brè. Perched on the steep mountainside it is a community of narrow streets with a delightful surprise round every corner. Morcote Con le sue bellezze naturali, le caratteristiche stradine e i portici delle antiche case patrizie, Morcote viene considerata “La perla del Ceresio”. Di rilevante interesse sono la Chiesa di S. Maria del Sasso ed il Parco Scherrer con vegetazione mediterranea e palazzine architettoniche. Morcote si trova a 10 km da Lugano ed è raggiungibile in automobile, autopostale ed in battello.

Carona Situato in una splendida posizione, Carona si trova a metà tra la cima del Monte San Salvatore e il Monte Arbostora. Villaggio antico e pittoresco, vanta una fittissima schiera di architetti, scultori, stuccatori e scalpellini che hanno lasciato importanti testimonianze della loro arte, decorando chiese e abitazioni. Il nucleo del paese è caratterizzato da strette stradine, deliziose piazzette e case signorili dai colori accesi, sapientemente decorate.

Carona befindet sich in einer aussergewöhnlicher Lage, zwischen dem Gipfel des Monte San Salvatore und dem Monte Arbostora. The village has antique roots and is very picturesque as many architects, sculptors, painters and artists have left behind their masterpieces around town. Agno È il paese più popolato del Malcantone situato nella baia del golfo ad ovest del lago Ceresio. Agno è anche sede dell’aeroporto della città di Lugano. La sua vocazione turistica è dovuta anche alla presenza di alcuni campeggi sulle rive del Lago di Lugano.

Agno ist einer der am stärksten bevölkerten Orte des Malcantone und liegt in der Bucht des Golfes am westlichen Ufer des Ceresiosees. Agno ist auch Sitz des Flugplatzes der Stadt Lugano. Seine Tourismus ist auch wegen der Anwesenheit von einigen Campingplätzen am Ufer des Luganersees Rage.

Caslano L’insediamento originario del paese è discosto dalla principale arteria di traffico e lambisce il lago. Oltre alle viuzze interne, caratteristica è la sua ampia Piazza Lago. Fa parte del comune anche la frazione di Torrazza, sullo stretto di Lavena, dietro al Monte Sassalto o Monte di Caslano noto per la sua ricca flora prealpina, tanto da essere citato tra le componenti naturali di interesse nazionale.

Der ursprüngliche Kern des Ortes liegt von der Hauptverkehrsarterie entfernt und entwickelt sich dem See entlang. Abgesehen von den engen Gässchen, ist sein grosser Platz am See ein Merkmal des Ortes. Zur Gemeinde gehört auch der Teil Torrazza, auf der See-Enge von Lavena gelegen, hinter dem Monte Sassalto, auch Monte di Caslano genannt. The original town settlement lies on the shores of the lake and is off the main traffic artery. Characteristic are the narrow internal streets and its vast square on the lake. The hamlet of Torrazza is also part of the municipality and is situated on the Lavena strait, behind Monte Sassalto, otherwise known as the Monte di Caslano, which is characterized by a rich variety of pre-Alpine flora, so much so, that it is mentioned among the naturalistic sites of national interest. Das Kunst- und Kulturzentrum LAC Lugano Arte e Cultura wurde vom Architekten Ivano Gianola gebaut. Parco Scherrer Definito “Il Giardino delle Meraviglie”, il parco venne realizzato da Arturo Scherrer amante dell’arte e della cultura. Questo Eden di 15’000 m² che maestoso sovrasta le acque del lago, ospita una ricca collezione di oggetti d’arte, contornati da una vegetazione lussureggiante.

Der Park, der auch als «Park der Wunder» bezeichnet wird, wurde von Arthur Scherrer erbaut. Dieses Paradies auf 15’000 m², das sich majestätisch über den Wassern des Sees erhebt, beherbergt eine Sammlung an Kunstgegenständen aus aller Welt eingebettet in eine üppige Vegetation.

Qualifié de « Jardin des Merveilles », ce parc fut réalisé par Arthur Scherrer. Cet Éden de 15’000 m², qui surplombe majestueusement les eaux du lac, accueille une riche collection d’objets artistiques, au milieu d’une végétation luxuriante.

Durante i mesi estivi sono il luogo ideale per godersi un tuffo in piscina o nel lago, sorseggiando una bibita rinfrescante e, perché no, un aperitivo in compagnia ammirando uno splendido tramonto.

Awarded Spots I migliori ristoranti del Luganese di Luigi Bosia Numerose sono le guide gastronomiche che parlano dei ristoranti ticinesi e certe volte è difficile districarsi tra le tante. Tra i locali segnalati nel Luganese su Michelin e GaultMillau anche quest’anno primeggia, con una stella il ristorante Artè a Lugano-Cassarate (con lo chef Frank Oerthle). Quanto ai Bib Gourmand c’è invece il Grotto della Salute a Massagno. Nella GaultMillau con 17/20, il migliore è il Principe Leopoldo a Lugano seguito con 16/29 dal ristorante Arté a Cassarate e dal Motto del Gallo a Taverne. The “Grotto”, a ticinese tradition Il grotto, una tradizione ticinese Un locale rustico, spesso all’ombra di alberi secolari, con tavoli e panche di granito, che permettono di gustare il pranzo al fresco. Il “grotto” è una vera e propria istituzione ticinese dove si trovano abitanti del posto e turisti, giovani e anziani, per gustare piatti nostrani: salametti, pesci in carpione, vitello tonnato, arrosto, cazzöla, funghi, formaggi e formaggelle. E per placare la sete si sorseggia dal “tazzino” del buon Merlot ticinese o magari anche del Barbera con la gazzosa.
