TEXAS TEXAS HILL COUNTRY

The Texas Hill Country is a fantastic late fall and early spring biking destination with scenic roads, great food and high-quality inns. Meet in Austin for a van shuttle ... or drive directly to your fantastic biking “home base,” Barons Creekside. Take a warm-up spin in the lovely hill country before your welcome dinner. Next, ride across the Pedernales River and onto the LBJ Ranch and get an insider look at the life of this important president.

On Day 3, switch things up with a hike at Enchanted Rock State Park — a giant dome of pink granite. Then bike the popular Willow City Loop.

On Day 4 you cycle and also see the amazing shops and museums in Fredericksburg, including the famous Pacific War Museum.

Spend Day 5 cycling along Grape Creek to Luckenbach — known for its funky store and daily live music. And your final day has a morning ride alongside horse ranches.

Each meal is a treat with picnics, meals at Barons or dining out.
