This is a bucket-list trip featuring the unbelievably beautiful spring flowers and sights in the heart of the Netherlands. Enjoy the view ... and the ease of bike & barge travel where your hotel travels with you. And see so much more than tulips ... with picturesque villages, historical buildings and windmills, you get the thrill of the vivid colors of the Dutch countryside, gardens and towns.

Arrive in Amsterdam at the barge for an afternoon cruise out of the harbor to a nearby town for your first ride to Uithoorn.

The next morning you ride to one of the most beautiful castles in the Netherlands for a tour. Then cycle to Heksenwaag and the famous cheese town of Gouda.

Next, spend a few days cycling in the green heart of the Netherlands with protected lands, fields and a visit to a cheese farm.

Day 4 brings you cycling among the tulips and a visit to the splendid gardens at Keukenhof — with its 7 million flowering tulips — plus, hyacinths, narcissus and more. Then stay in Haarlem, know as “little Amsterdam” for its beautiful setting.

Finish with a nature reserve, dunes, a windmill tour, and more cycling before returning to Amsterdam. Any day you wish can be spent relaxing on the barge with a great view of the passing flowers, farms and villages.
