Ride with us on this unique trail-based tour to see the full range of scenery on the gorgeous South Island. When it’s winter in North America, it’s summer in New Zealand, so take advantage of this off-season getaway ... and find out why so many people rave about cycling here.

Begin with a walking tour of the town of Christchurch followed by a Maori cultural experience and dinner. Then get ready for our first day of cycling on the Alps2Ocean Trail — from Twizel and along Lake Ohau. Stay night 2 on the shores of the lake and enjoy views of the Southern Alps reflected in her waters.

On Day 3, shuttle to ride the new and breathtaking Dunstan Trail to Clyde — where you spend two nights in this charming town with great dining.

Ride the classic Otago Rail Trail from Oturehua to Alexandra or back to Clyde. Next day, take a picnic lunch and cycle in Roxburgh Gorge with a jet boat ride in the middle of the route. Day 6 is a day off in Queenstown when you can rest ... or book an excursion to see Milford Sound.

Ride the Queenstown Trail, West Coast Wilderness Trail and more. Then finish by biking from Hokitika on the Tasman Sea and shuttle to the TranzAlpine train to Christchurch.
