Enjoy the first night of the tour aboard the comfortable barge in Amsterdam’s harbor. Then cruise out of the city to start cycling on the incredible network of bike paths in the lovely rural countryside. Visit the towns of Utrecht, Waginigen, Deventer and more. Enjoy the quaint villages, farmland, forests and frequent windmills — many of which are still hard at work pumping water, grinding various items and even sawing lumber.

Stay in Arnhem, site of the infamous World War II Operation Market Garden on the Rhine in 1944 — portrayed in the film “A Bridge Too Far.”

Learn about the Dutch East India Company and visit some of the lovely Hanseatic League trading towns, which worked together in the 13th to 15th centuries.

Cycle back into Amsterdam for your final night and then depart by train or taxi back to Amsterdam’s airport.
