Discover some of the most outstanding cycling in South America in the gorgeous Lakes and Volcanoes District of southern Chile. Ride high-quality roads along sparkling lakes and idyllic meadows — with the dramatic backdrop of snow-covered volcanic peaks. Stay in fine inns & nature reserves. And consider a pre-trip to explore Patagonia for 4 or 5 days.

Meet in Puerto Varas to start riding along the first of several spectacular lakes. Spin along Lake Llanquihue with views of the snowy Osorno Volcano. Bike or shuttle up to a waterfall in a national park. On Day 2, you continue along the lake with views of four other volcanoes. Then shuttle to Lago Ranco. You stay at the first of two outstanding resorts located on conservation lands.

On Day 3 and 4, you cycle around Lago Ranco and Lago Panguipulli with more stunning views. On Day 5, you can choose from a variety of activites at an eco-resort, such as a hike, gondola, or sunset jeep ride.

On Day 6, you cycle and then shuttle to the adventure town of Pucón for two nights. Ride from there to the border of Argentina on Day 7, and hike to the base of the Villarica Volcano on Day 8 ... before our shuttle to Temuco Airport for departure.
