Recently over Thanksgiving break, I did a Freerice competition for getting a few extra community service hours during break. I don’t usually go out during Thanksgiving breaks, so this opportunity was really nice to do to keep myself occupied while also getting hours. In the end, I thought that this experience was a really positive one since I was able to contribute to people in need and expand my vocabulary. I really liked how simple yet stimulating the questions were and how interactive the Freerice program was so that even if I got a question wrong, the program would encourage me to keep going until I got it right. Overall, answering simple English vocabulary questions to give rice to the people in need felt really rewarding to me and I am so thankful that I was able to make a small contribution to the world with what I did over break. - Sanajan Vidhyacharan, Dublin

Key Club has had many opportunities for their members. The one that I liked the most was the Thanksgiving Free Rice event. With the pandemic this was a great way to safely help people. This event also allowed us learn new words and facts. Key club has had many opportunities for their members. The one that I liked the most was the Thanksgiving Free Rice event. Over thanksgiving I participated in the free rice activity where I answered multiple questions to help change lives around the world. I got to choose categories I wanted to answer questions from such as art, literature, geography and much more. I really liked that I got to learn new things while saving others lives! I would 100% do this again because it was so interactive and fun and I really enjoyed it! - Cydney Leung, Dublin
