Happy February, Blue Devils! With DCON coming up soon, it’s officially election season! In the upcoming weeks, your club should be planning for officer elections that will be held during late February or throughout the entire month of March. If you’re interested in running for an officer position, start by reaching out to your current club officers with any questions you may have! Remember that what a Key Club officer position entails is not the same as a position for another club (ex: other club secretaries don’t fill out MRFs). Since we only have a couple months left of this term, let’s finish strong together! We’re currently a quarter away from our division service hour goal of 4,000, which has been exponentially growing this entire term. I believe we can make it! Additionally, the CNH District membership goal has been revised to be 30,000 dues paid members. We can help CNH achieve this goal as long as each club recruits 12 more members! This sounds daunting, but think about the friends you have who are not in Key Club — try to get at least one person to join and pay their dues. It’s definitely DUE-able! (see what I did there haha sorry I’ll stop) With all that said, even if we don’t achieve our goals, I’m incredibly proud of all the work you’ve put into this term! <3 I can’t believe we only have two months left with each other, let’s make them the best! Always serving with a SMILE, Caroline Lobel d26s.cnhkc.ltg@gmail.com

Hey Blue Devils! Hope you have all been hanging in there amidst our crazy start to the new year…! Can you believe it’s already February? The 2020-21 Key Club term is almost over and it’s so hard to believe. I feel like it was just yesterday when I was taking a walk around my neighborhood, and I received the notification that I was chosen for the position of Division News Editor. Now, my term is almost over! As bittersweet as those words sound, I’ve been super happy to create these newsletters every month for our wonderful division. This issue particularly reflects those emotions, as I used the theme of a journey/trip. The worn out map, destination points, and other aspects you’ll notice throughout the newsletter will take you back through a trip in time through this term, albeit everything being online. Am I getting a little too sappy? Maybe! But not to worry! We still have a couple months until the term is over, and I’m certain that those months will continue to be filled with service, spirit, and bonding. Anyways, I am super proud of our division for all that we have achieved this term! Let’s continue to strive big and take strides towards fulfilling our division goals. Enjoy this issue! Burning with service, Christine Oh d26s.cnhkc.dne@gmail.com

winter workshop

With election season right around the corner, we’ll be hosting a Winter-themed member education workshop that’s specifically geared toward members interested in running for an officer position for the 2021-2022 term! Come learn what it takes to be a Key Club officer, about the club elections process, and how to become a leader! Even if you aren’t interested in a position, you can still learn a thing or two about leadership!

DWS

tappy trees

Plant some trees virtually with the division through the app Tappy Trees! Similar to Cookie Clicker, all you have to do is tap your device and purchase upgrades. 15% of the revenue earned through the app will be donated to One Tree Planted to help reforestation efforts around the world. Since tapping the app won’t take your full concentration, we’ll be doing some division bonding activities throughout the event! If you cannot download the free app, a website alternative will be provided.

FUND

hugs and kisses

In honor of Valentine’s Day and a day of love, February’s fundraiser will be an exchange of grams, with candy attached! Each gram will be three dollars and to purchase one, fill out the form below with your information. Please Venmo all fees to @caroline-lobel.
