Letter From Your Lt. Governor Hello Blue Devils! My name is Caroline Lobel and I proudly serve as YOUR Lieutenant Governor for the 2020-2021 term! I am committed to doing my best to keep you all updated about Key Club information, especially during this time of uncertainty. Currently, I’m looking into ways for clubs to complete service and raise funds from home; please keep an eye out for an email about that soon. April has mostly been a catch up month for our division as there are more events planned for May, so get excited blue devils! If you don’t know me, I am currently a junior at Dougherty Valley High School and I served as one of our division’s Executive Assistants last term. All of the past Lt. Governors that I’ve had the pleasure to look up to, have shaped me into the individual I am today. Under their leadership, I’ve become a more passionate and outgoing person. Now, it’s my turn to be a role model for the members of Division 26 South and to give you all Key Club experiences that you’ll forever cherish. I believe the inclusiveness aspect of Key Club is what sets us apart from other service organizations, which is why I will emphasize the relationships members are able to form with one another. Together, we’ll complete service and raise funds for our preferred charities as one big, happy Division 26 South family. (ノ•⌄•)ノ♡ We can always serve with a SMILE this term by supporting each other, creating memorable experiences, inspiring a passion for service, learning how to grow as individuals, and maintaining efficiency. I chose SMILE as my platform because you’ll almost always find me smiling. I’m a lighthearted person who’s always down to have a friendly conversation, so please feel free to reach out to me about anything. Full disclosure, I can be awkward at times because I’m an introvert. However, I’m still very approachable and eager to help out and be your friend. :) Aside from Key Club, I love boba and Animal Crossing! Anyways, if you want to learn more about me and my plans/goals for this term, be sure to attend future division events (or just message me)! I look forward to serving our division this term and getting to know as many of you as I can! Let this be a term of growth, friendship, and service! ヽ(^。^)丿

Division Leadership Team 2020-2021 Hello Hello Blue Devil! The long-awaited start of the 2020-2021 term is officially upon us, which means it’s time to finally appoint this year’s Division Leadership Team (DLT)! This year’s DLT will consist of around nine dedicated individuals from all over Division 26 South who are looking to further their Key Club journeys. The team will lead our division by working closely with both me and each other to help organize division events and to complete various other tasks. I highly encourage all of you to apply, regardless of previous Key Club experience. As I will continue to say throughout the term, serving on the DLT is an enriching experience. And, with any rewarding position, it will require effortful work. Don’t worry though, it’s fun work (mostly)! Especially since you’ll serving alongside fellow Key Clubbers with whom you will soon become very close with. Regardless of which position(s) you choose to apply for, there is only one form to fill out. You will be taken to the application for the position you select on the fourth section of the Google form. At the end of the form, you have the option of being considered for three other positions without filling out additional applications. However, both Executive Assistant positions and Division News Editor are exempt from consideration because they require an official application. An interview will not be required for this year’s application process, so make your written answers count! However, if you are not a strong writer, an interview is available to you IN ADDITION to your written response. Additionally, if you are fairly new to Key Club and don’t know too much about our division, still give the application your best shot! You never know what will happen if you don’t try. Applications are due Saturday April 25, 2020 AT 11:59 PM. Requests for extensions are due Wednesday April 22, 2020 at 11:59 PM, just email me your name, grade, club, reason for extension, and amount of additional time needed. I look forward to reading your responses. Please contact me with any questions, comments, or concerns at d26s.cnhkc.ltg@gmail.com or (415)699-0900. Good luck!

April DCM Recap
Thank you to everyone who attended the first DCM of the 2020-2021 term! It was held on April 19 through Zoom and together we did a Q&A with the Lt. Governor and watched “My Neighbor Totoro”. There was a good turnout considering this was our first virtual DCM! As we move forward to more online events, I (Caroline Lobel) hope to see more of your faces even if it’s just through a screen. For now, we must continue burning with service!
