WHAT'S BUZZIN’ BEES?!
As you all know from our July newsletter, our lovely Service Projects Committee has created “Spotlight on Service” themes for each month!
For this month of SEPTEMBER, our focus is the PEDIATRIC TRAUMA PROGRAM also known as PTP! PTP is one of our preferred charities that we raise money for throughout the term but for the month of September, we put extra focus onto it! Some ideas for this focus is plushie making for pediatric patients, thank you bags for healthcare workers, and some no-sew heating pads.
Want more information regarding SPOTLIGHT ON SERVICE? Visit CNHKEYCLUB.ORG and head to the PROJECTS tab to find out more about the Spotlight on Service Program!! If your club has done any projects matching the SEPTEMBER FOCUS in September, make sure to submit your projects at tinyurl.com/SOSP2425 so that YOU can be recognized for the work you’re doing for your community!

BURGERS & BLUES!
CLARK MAGNET KEY CLUB | Taron
Martirosyan
The "Burgers & Blues" event took place on Saturday, August 17, from 5 PM to 10 PM at the McGroarty Arts Center
Several people from Division 3 North attended the event to volunteer, including DLT members and officers from home clubs (such as Clark Magnet High School). Due to the fact that all of the volunteers had different tasks to perform, there was no particular main activity for this event. I had a wonderful time working as a volunteer. I was glad to see that we, the volunteers, contributed to making this event a wholesome experience for everyone in the community.
VERDUGO HILLS KEY CLUB | Aren Yeghikian & Mahalia Mehrabi
At the DCM this month, I had tons of fun talking to some members from our division while I helped them with their club rush prep I decorated a snapshot poster that read “I joined key club” for Crescenta Valley My home club had done our club rush, so we were very helpful to the other schools I loved making my poster, and so did the other members, because we tried to be as creative as possible and add lots of cute things on the posters to catch prospective members’ attention
I had a blast connecting with students from various Key Clubs across different high schools in our division at the September DCM. We gathered to brainstorm and create posters for their upcoming club rushes. It was a truly inspiring experience to witness the enthusiasm and creativity of these individuals as they worked together to promote their respective clubs. I particularly enjoyed helping out a group of students who were from Crescenta Valley High School. Together, we brainstormed ideas and eventually created a tri-fold poster that would hopefully encourage people from their school to join Key Club Seeing their excitement and gratitude was incredibly rewarding
