My Monthly Message My term is sadly coming to an end soon and I am looking for someone to take over the legacy of Division 5. If you want to go further in Key Club and be Lt. Governor please talk to me as soon as possible so that I may help set you for success before the day of election in less than a month. Also, DCON is almost here and you need to start making plans for that. This year’s DCON will be one to remember. I have a few Divisional fundraisers coming up for a mode of transportation for our whole Division to travel together. Officer elections should be taking place next month as well. So that I can leave everyone’s contact information set for the next Lt. Governor. I am so proud of all the service you all have been done so far! Let’s make these last few months count! If you have not yet submitted them, they are now late. Dues need to be submitted by February 1st, before your club is considered a suspended club. Unfortunately, if your club has not paid dues you cannot register for DCON or apply for any district positions until they’re paid. I do not want this to be the case so I will work with you to fix this. Congratulations to all the clubs that have paid!
January Checklist RSVP for the DEC --Let me know if you can come to the DEC so that I know who’ll be coming. Also, assign 4 delegates to vote at DEC
Pay DUES! --Make sure your dues are paid asap! If you have paid them let me know!
Hold Officer Elections --Key Club officer election always take place in February so be sure that they are held and that you tell me when.
Let me know if you will be running for LTG --The election conference is less than a month away and I need to know if you plan to run!
Plan a Fundraiser for DCON --Start making sure you have funds to go to convention! Talk to your Kiwanis and see if they may be able to support you on your trip.
Key Club is Life so…… Go further and become Lt. Governor!

Club Officer Elections are upon us! Make sure that your members are aware that you will be having officer elections next month and that they should be prepared to run! Key Club has elections early in order to offer a training period for incoming officers. Let me know if you have questions!
I have established my Divisional Project to be Ronald McDonald House. We will be collecting soda tabs for these next two weeks. I will be collecting these at the DEC/PCM to donate to the Ronald McDonald House. The club that collects the most will receive a prize!
Division Election Conference The divisional election conference is the most important meeting we have of the year. It is where the new Lt. Governor is elected. If you are planning to run, please speak with me by January 24th so that I can make sure you have filled out the proper paperwork and that you’re aware of what will be going on at the DEC. If your club is simply attending you need to be sure that you have 4 assigned voting delegates that will attend. As a club, you can decide who these delegates will be. Please fulfill your obligation as a Key Clubber and attend. If you cannot let me know a.s.a.p. When: Sat. Jan 31st from 12pm-2pm Location: most likely‌ Judson Early College Academy 8230 Palisades Drive Live Oak, TX 78148 Bring: your vote! Who: Your entire club! Please be sure that at least 4 from each club attend to cast their vote and act as voting delegates. For: to vote on a new Lt.
