Hey Division 5!, I am your 2014-2015 Lt. Governor Dianna Cardenas and I am so excited to work with you all this coming year! Just last month, I came back from probably the best district convention and was installed as your new Lieutenant Governor. Thank you so much for all your support at the Divisional Election Conference in February. I am really thankful for the opportunity you have allowed me, to be your new Lt. Governor. If you ever have any questions, just want to talk about Key Club, or anything at all, you can contact me any time preferably by email (diannaltg5@gmail.com), by calling/texting me at (210)-748-2014,or on Facebook (let me know if you are not on the Division 5 Fb page). I can’t wait to see all the great things we will accomplish as a division this year!! FUN FACT! You can park about 15 bicycles in the same space that one car takes.
All about Me! I joined key club at the beginning of my freshman year, because I had heard from people that it was really cool. Throughout the year, I attended service events, and went to PCM’s. I really loved the idea of how Key Club served the community. One day, Hope, our divisions immediate past Lt. Governor, came to one of my classes to talk to us about being Lt. Governor. I was really surprised to see the importance and loved the idea of being able to work with other schools and the district. After running, I now serve as Division 5’s Lt. Governor. I live in Live Oak, TX and I am a freshman (going on sophomore) at Judson Early College Academy. I love dancing, and would like learn different techniques. I like to eat and I love music! So guys there you go! “This is me I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be now Gonna let the light shine on me Now I've found who I am There's no way to hold it in No more hiding who I wanna be This is me!” (“This Is Me”- Demi Lovato) Share your story on our FB page so we can learn more about each other! .
1) Have 100% of our clubs reporting
- I plan to do this by meeting with each club that is not reporting and sitting down with them to do a monthly report. This will help you understand the importance of monthly reports. Also, it will allow you to see how a monthly report should be done in case you already do not know how to. 2) Increase communication between each club and the Lt. Governor -I plan to do this by calling each club president monthly to discuss what goes on in their club so that I can assist you. I also would like to increase the activity on the division FB page so that all members of your club can see what is happening in our division. 3)Have more inter clubs in the division so that we can form a stronger bond as Key clubbers. -I plan to do this by having the clubs in the division communicate about what service events they could use help with and having one club at each of my PCM’s host a social.
