Effectiveness of technology
Issuu
This was used in preproduction to present documents from Word to present our work in a lot more depth and analysis, PowerPoint presentation to present research on audience, and spread sheets to present out shooting script. We were then able to link it with Issuu to put onto our blogs, The blog was the main use of technology used in preproduction as it allowed us to display our work to be marked; here we were allowed to put on any planning or research we did. Each week we made production logs to keep it up to date from where we in terms of our process while creating our project. YouTube was used to find a song for our opening sequence; we were looking for a grime song and looked through different music we could use. I also used this while doing some beach combing, and analysing other media texts to get inspiration

For post-production I created files on word which I needed to link onto my blog, such as research on technologies used, and to also show my information in a new way.
I think that it was an effective aspect of technology that we used as it gave a different way of presenting work and made it clear to read.
Here it was only used to update the stages of our progress.
Post-production was again used to show how we could analyse and evaluate our work, presenting it clearly on blogger to be marked. It was also used to upload our finished piece of work.
Overall it was very useful as it gave me a place to store all of my work online, it was easy to access and it was shown clearly.

I used this to post my final film, I also was able to post videos with my partner analysing and evaluating the work that we had done, discussing representation and audience.
This was good technology to use as we were able to use a different way of expressing our ideas. I was also able to post my video easily which was effective.
Blogger
YouTube
for my own work. Twitter
I used this to get permission of an unsigned producer to use3 his beats, as this would not be copyright music, it was important to get in touch with him, so twitter was an easy way to do so.

This was effective as it was easy and quick to get done, we didn’t have to wait long for a response as I had the application on my phone and he was able to confirm it online.
Prezi
Prezi was used to present our ideas on our 5 part narrative structure. It was a different way to present the work, and showed it clearly, allowing me to be as creative as possible when using it.

This was effective as it enabled me to present my work clearly and using a different format.

This was an easy camera to use as we didn’t need it for long it wasn’t essential to set up anything to film it with, I was able to hold it and film things quickly there wasn’t much effort needed when using it, which was good as we could get the work done quicker. It was easy to use and we were able to see our footage after it had been filmed. So

Blackberry messenger
We took recci shots to show the location in which we
project, as it was the only way in which to capture the footage we needed. We used it well and it had good battery life, so we could use it for long periods of time without it turning off. It allowed us to zoom and was light so we were able to use it for handheld shots, and either close ups long shots and wide shots etc. This was used to help edit all the footage we had from the cameras. It was a good software to use as it allowed us to fit all clips on, it also gave options to improve our film, for example giving us a choice of what graphics we wanted to have, it allowed us to add effects on to the cuts, for example we used a fade after showing the production logo. Blackberry messenger was simply used to
we would know whether we wanted to re-shoot or reposition the shot. However we were unable to use the HD cameras which would have been a lot clearer.

This was the software in which we used to edit our work, getting the final piece was easy as it allowed us to check through each clip and out them on the timeline in the order that we needed. It was easy to use, and there was a better software that we would have liked to have used, however we didn’t get to use it as it would have been time consuming to learn then use.

This was a quick and easy way to reach everyone, as
wanted to film our opening sequence.
arrange times in which we wanted our actors to meet up.
the majority of our cast, including my partner had it on our phone so we could sort things out whenever we needed to.
