REJOICE AND BE GLAD “This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad” (Psalm 118:24). Let us remember that these words of today’s responsorial psalm are not only sung from the hearts of those gathered in our parish. They are also sung by the poor in tiny barrios throughout Central and South America. They are sung by those denied religious freedom in our world; these Christians lift their voices in clandestine places of worship. These words are sung by people who have lost loved ones to acts of terrorism and war around the globe. Even in the midst of conflict and division, Christians still come together to declare that poverty, loneliness, violence, and division will never, ever have as much power as the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Indeed, let us rejoice this day and be glad!

Faith and Family Women’s Group Incarnation Catholic Church is excited to announce the formation of a new ministry for all women of our parish community. Faith and Family Women’s Group has evolved from Pope Francis’s mission of the importance of family life within our Catholic faith. Whether you are a Mother, Grandmother, Godmother, Daughter, Sister or Aunt, we invite you to participate in this new ministry that will focus on the family as a whole within our church community. Is your Catholic faith an important part of your life? Are you interested in becoming more involved in your church community but cannot make a commitment to regularly scheduled meetings or dedicate time to multiple committee meetings? Would you enjoy getting to know other ladies and families within the parish community?
Do you enjoy attending parish events? Would you like to see more family focused occasions within the parish? If you answered yes to any or all of the above questions, we encourage you to learn more about the Faith and Family Women’s Group. The focus of this ministry is to provide an opportunity for women of all ages to gather, get to know each other and find enjoyment in helping within the church community to provide family fun, focused events that can also help raise funds to support our parish. Stay tuned for more information on the new ministry, including how you can become involved as well as a spring themed kick-off event.

LECTURAS DE LA SEMANA Lunes: Hch 2:14, 22-33; Sal 16 (15):1-2, 5, 7-11; Mt 28:8-15 Martes: Hch 2:36-41; Sal 33 (32):4-5, 18-20, 22; Jn 20:11-18 Miércoles: Hch 3:1-10; Sal 105 (104):1-4, 6-9; Lc 24:13-35 Jueves: Hch 3:11-26; Sal 8:2, 5-9; Lc 24:35-48 Viernes: Hch 4:1-12; Sal 118 (117):1-2, 4, 22-27; Jn 21:1-14 Sábado: Hch 4:13-21; Sal 118 (117):1, 14-21; Mc 16:9-15 Domingo: Hch 2:42-47; Sal 118 (117):2-4, 13-15, 22-24; 1 Pe 1:3-9; Jn 20:19-31
