THE INEXPRESSIBLE MYSTERY The God of the universe is mysterious. Science has not been able to solve the mystery of how the universe came into being or explain exactly what continues to give it creative energy and masterful design. No religion asserts that it has found words to name fully the ineffable mystery of God, for no matter what name we use, God always transcends our limited ability to understand. God is a mystery to be believed, not known. And yet, we Christians believe that our name for God best expresses that inexpressible mystery: God is the Most Holy Trinity of three persons united in a communion of love, pouring forth that creative, saving, sanctifying love into the world. Message from the Prayer Shawl Ministry Dear Parishioners, The purpose for our ministry is to provide comfort, warmth, and love through the articles we hand crochet or knit. Among the items are shawls, lap blankets, baby blankets, and chemo caps. We provide these items to those who are gravely sick, recovering from surgery, a severe injury, fighting cancer, or gravely sick infants/children. If you can knit or crochet, or would like to learn how to, please join our ministry. We meet the 2nd Tuesday of every month (September - May Only) at 7:00 p.m. in the Faith Formation Office. Or if you would like to help the ministry, donations of yarn are always welcomed. Please call or visit the parish office if you or a loved one are in need of one of these items.
Please join Spiritual Mothers for Priests on Fr iday, J une 23rd at 9:00a.m. in fr ont of our Lady of Caridad Del Cobre statue for our annual Rosary Relay for Priests. We will be joining with other Churches all over the world praying a Rosary of Intercession for Priests. La Santísima Trinidad MISTERIO INEXPRESABLE El Dios del universo es misterioso. La ciencia no ha podido resolver el misterio de cómo el universo surgió ni explicar exactamente qué es lo que continúa dándole energía creadora y diseño magistral. V ENCUENTRO DE PASTORAL HISPANA
ENCUENTRO PARROQUIAL Queremos invitar a toda la feligresía al Gran Encuentro parroquial que realizaremos el sábado 17 de junio del corriente a partir de las 8:00 am en el salón Saint Michael. El Evento forma parte de la preparación para la celebración del V Encuentro de Pastoral Hispana a concluirse en 2018. Será una interesante oportunidad para compartir las experiencias vividas en los encuentros anteriores, para reflexionar sobre el momento de gracia que como Iglesia vivimos y para visualizar posibles soluciones a los problemas, que, en materia de evangelización, enfrenta nuestra Iglesia en el presente. Ofreceremos desayuno y almuerzo para todos y concluiremos con la celebración de la eucaristía a la 1:20 pm, luego compartiremos algún refrigerio. ¡Ven a compartir con nosotros y sé parte de esta fiesta de comunión y fraternidad!
