MISAS EN ESPAÑOL: A MINDSET OF SERVICE There’s a lot of traveling, delivering, and visiting going on in our readings today. In Genesis Abraham cares for the needs of three mysterious travelers. The psalm responds, celebrating the kind of righteousness that Abraham practices. Then, in his letter to the Colossians, Saint Paul describes his own ministry as almost like a delivery service: he, God’s steward, brings the word of God to their community. Finally, Luke’s Gospel shares the well-known story of Mary and Martha, and the different ways they welcome Jesus into their home. Amid all this coming and going, we are invited to pay attention to the ways we tend to the needs of others. Each of us can ask, How am I present to God and others in my life? 8220 W. I pray these lines find all doing well. I will be writing a weekly article which works out better here at Incarnation parish than it did at St. James parish. There I was the only priest, here I am one of three so I may not be able to see all of you on a given weekend. This article will give you a little synopsis on how and what your new pastor of doing and experiencing. For example, this weekend I will not be here, I will be at Steubenville with the youth from my former parish of St. James. I had planned on going with our youth before I got the news of the transfer so I wanted to honor my intention to be there with the youth. A priest’s time at Steubenville consists of hearing confessions of literally thousands of youth, generally around twelve priests from different areas of Florida attend, so know that at 6:30 every morning – then throughout the day I will be hearing confessions. So many of the youth who attend had not been to confession in a very long time so it’s a pretty intense experience for them. It is an honor to be able to welcome these teens back to the sacrament and to alleviate the weight that is always felt when in sin. I pray you all have a Blessed Weekend! Take care of Fr. Brian and Fr. Francisco for me! God Bless You! Love, Fr. Mike

Prayer for Protection against Storms & Hurricanes O God, Master of this passing world, hear the humble voices of your children. The Sea of Galilee obeyed Your order and returned to its former quietude. You are still the Master of land and sea. We live in the shadow of a danger over which we have no control: the Gulf, like a provoked and angry giant, can awake from its seeming lethargy, overstep its conventional boundaries, invade our land, and spread chaos and disaster. During this hurricane season we turn to You, O loving Father. Spare us from past Tragedies whose memories are still so vivid and whose wounds seem to refuse to heal with passing of time. O Virgin, Star of the Sea, Our beloved Mother, we ask you to Plead with your Son on our behalf, so that spared from the calamities common to this area and animated with a true spirit of gratitude, we will walk in the footsteps of your Divine Son to reach the heavenly Jerusalem, where stormless eternity awaits us. Amen. Would you like to have a Mass celebrated in memory of a deceased loved one, or to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or other special reason? Visit the Parish Office to schedule your special intention. Every Sunday 11 am - 2 pm Eat * Take out* Drive Thru! A percentage of all sales will be donated back to Incarnation Catholic Church. You get to enjoy a great meal and an opportunity to help our Parish. Invite your friends and family! Coupon can be used anytime, any day! Just say “Thanks, we’re from Incarnation”. Nothing else needed
JULY 21, 2019 SHARE YOUR TIME AND YOUR FAITH WITH THOSE WHO ARE ILL AND HOMEBOUND. For the ones who cannot attend Mass the reception of Communion is an opportunity to receive the Body and Blood of God and also a sign of support and concern shown by the Christian community for all its members.

Natural Family Planning Awareness Week is a national educational campaign. The Natural Family Planning Program of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops develops a poster each year with basic supportive materials. It is the individual dioceses however, that offer a variety of educational formats in the local church to focus attention on Natural Family Planning methods and Church teachings which support their use in marriage. The dates of Natural Family Planning Awareness Week highlight the anniversary of the papal encyclical Humanae Vitae (July 25) which articulates Catholic beliefs about human sexuality, conjugal love and responsible parenthood. The dates also mark the feast of Saints Joachim and Anne (July 26), the parents of the Blessed Mother. For further information, contact nfp@usccb.org.

Salmo — ¿Quien será grato a tus ojos, Señor? LECTURAS DE LA SEMANA Cant 3:1-4b o 2 Cor 5:14-17; Sal 63 (62):2-6, 8-9; Jn 20:1-2, 11-18 Martes: Ex 14:21 — 15:1; Ex 15:8-10, 12, 17; Mt 12:46-50 Miércoles: Ex 16:1-5, 9-15; Sal 78 (77):18-19, 23-28; Mt 13:1-9 Jueves: 2 Cor 4:7-15; Sal 126 (125):1bc-6; Mt 20:20-28 Viernes: Ex 20:1-17; Sal 19 (18):8-11; Mt 13:18-23 Sábado: Ex 24:3-8; Sal 50 (49):1b-2, 5-6, 14-15; Mt 13:24-30 Domingo: Gn 18:20-32; Sal 138 (137):1-3, 6-8; Col 2:12-14; Lk 11:1-13 Lunes:
