$201,544.00 I pray these lines find all doing well. Things are great here at Incarnation Central with Halloween behind us (at least for me). Time now flies, Thanksgiving and Christmas will be here before you know it. We hear today about the question of eternal life and what that entails. The Sadducees were trying to trip Jesus up (foolish Sadducees!!!) by giving the crazy scenario about so many husbands. Most people collect stamps – so much easier than all those husbands, LOL, but I digress. The Sadducees actually believed that there was no after life. Their thought process was – this is it! Whatever does or does not happen here is a total gift from God, but their thought is it’s “Lights out,”” Game Over”, it’s all just one big “Dirt Nap.” Thank God they are totally wrong. Jesus himself says in another part of Scripture, “Eye has not seen and ear has not heard, nor has it so much as dawned on man what God has ready for those who love Him.” As wonderful as this world is, Heaven is going to be so much greater, no one will be disappointed AND everyone will be surprised and amazed at what is waiting for us on the “other side.” Enjoy this life and love as much as you can but don’t ever think “This is the happiest I’ll ever be, because my friend – you ain’t seen nothing yet!!! God Bless You, Love, Fr. Mike TODAY’S READINGS First Reading — The King of the world will raise us up to live again forever (2 Maccabees 7:1-2, 9-14). Psalm — Lord, when your glory appears, my joy will be full (Psalm 17). Second Reading — May the Lord encourage and strengthen your hearts (2 Thessalonians 2:16 — 3:5). Gospel — Those who are deemed worthy of the coming age can no longer die (Luke 20:27-38 [27, 3438]).
READINGS FOR THE WEEK Monday: Wis 1:1-7; Ps 139:1b-10; Lk 17:1-6 Tuesday: Wis 2:23 — 3:9; Ps 34:2-3, 16-19; Lk 17:7-10 Wednesday: Wis 6:1-11; Ps 82:3-4, 6-7; Lk 17:11-19 Thursday: Wis 7:22b — 8:1; Ps 119:89-91, 130, 135, 175; Lk 17:20-25 Friday: Wis 13:1-9; Ps 19:2-5ab; Lk 17:26-37 Saturday: Wis 18:14-16; 19:6-9; Ps 105:2-3, 3637, 42-43; Lk 18:1-8 Sunday: Mal 3:19-20a; Ps 98:5-9; 2 Thes 3:7-12; Lk 21:5-19

Todavía no hemos visto nada!!!
