I pray these lines find all doing well. I want to take this opportunity to thank the cast of thousands who made my first Christmas here at Incarnation an amazing time, from Liturgies to music to decorations and so many other events and goings on at the Church. I had a great Christmas and could not have asked for better, Christmas day was perfect from beginning to end. End being the key word, as I drove into the parking lot this last Monday morning (yes I’m actually writing this on the week you read it, what a concept) LOL. I saw the school bustling with Moms and Dads dropping the kids off. And although Christmas break is over, we are still at the tail end of the Christmas Season this weekend with the Baptism of the Lord. Take a picture now if you want to remember the beautiful decorations because next week we enter into normal time – great thing is- even without the Christmas decorations the church is still beautiful! As was mentioned earlier, we are celebrating the Baptism of the Lord. I love the concept I heard as a child – when Jesus was baptized, he MADE the oceans of the world Holy. This weekend in scripture we hear about the Trinity. The Spirit descended like a dove and a voice was heard from Heaven saying this is my beloved Son! And when God the Father speaks, we are to be reminded of the E.F. Hutton commercial – we are to listen!!! He says, “This is my beloved Son with whom I am well pleased.” If we were baptized right now and a voice from Heaven spoke about our current situation, what do you hear the Lord saying? I’ll get it started for you, “This is my beloved child, but what after that? Who needs to trust me more? / who has to relax and remember that I’m in charge? / who needs to be more loving and forgiving? / who needs to remember how loved and cherished they are? Among many other phrases I’m pretty sure I would hear “who needs much better jokes! And Hair! I pray you all have a great week!!! Love, Fr. Mike

¡Y Pelo! ¡¡¡Rezo que tengan una gran semana!!! Con amor, P. Mike. Lunes: Martes: Miércoles: Jueves: Viernes: Sábado: Domingo:
