I pray these lines find all doing well and enjoying summer. All is good here at Incarnation Central, pretty low key and definitely a summer type mode. The Fathers are giving you a break this weekend – the Deacons are preaching. The beauty of being pastor is I still get to comment on the Gospel in my weekly article. This weekend there are two general points I would like to focus on. The first is that Jesus performs a miracle, and although the miracle itself is enough to focus on I want to focus on the “how” the miracle happened. Jesus did not crack his knuckles and say, “Hey guys, watch this!” then feed the multitudes. We read that He simply took what was given Him and gave Thanks – knowing God would obviously hear Him and provide. Jesus gave thanks and distributed and there was plenty for everyone. Our prayer can also be this simple. God does not want theatrics – He wants an open communicating heart. The other point which ties in well to this miracle is that the youngster we hear about had five loaves and two fish. The gift of this is that he gave all he had, nothing held back to Jesus. All of us need to do this in our lives as well. The Lord is always with us guiding us and leading us throughout our lives. We never know what the future will bring BUT, if we have given everything to Jesus, we can be assured that He will see us through anything! God Bless Your Week! Love, Fr. Mike

Dear Parishioners, The celebration of the Eucharist is the center of the entire Christian life both for the Church universally and for the local congregation of the Church. All the other sacraments, all the ministries of the Church, and the works of the apostolate are united with the Eucharist and are directed towards it. The Holy Eucharist contains the entire spiritual treasures of the Church, that is, Christ Himself, our Passover and living bread. Therefore, veneration and adoration which is due to God himself, has always been customary in the Catholic Church. Starting on Monday August 16th we will be adding an additional opportunity for Exposition of the Holy Eucharist. Besides First Friday after Mass we will now be having Eucharist Adoration on Monday evening between 7 and 8 PM and will be conducted by the Deacons of Incarnation Parish. Please come and spend some time with Our Lord in silence. Blessings, Deacon Jim

Catechists Needed!

As we set up planning for and getting registration information ready, we are asking for those that may teach now or having taught to contact the Faith Formation Office if they would like to be a catechist. We have been blessed with an amazing Group of catechists, but we have a few, who after many dedicated years have retired from this part of their stewardship. With that in mind we do need some catechist and assistant catechist. We are still in need of a few more Catechists and Catechist aids. If you feel God is calling you to help pass on our Faith to the children and youth of our Parish, please contact Deacon Matt or Judy Licari at (813) 884-3624 and see where your gifts and talents can be used.

Please welcome the following children who were baptized here at Incarnation in the month of July: Mason Alexander Camaraza-Castillo Victoria Camila Camaraza-Castillo Michael Gieseppe Pizzurro Cattaleya Mia Rivera

With the prayers and help of their parents, godparents, and this community, may the Holy Spirit fill them abundantly with His Grace at every moment of their lives. If you would like to have your child baptized, please call Deacon Matt @813-884-3624. 4

¡Dios bendiga tu semana!
