THIRTY-THIRD SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME PARISH OFFICE Hours: 9am - 4pm 5124 Gateway Dr. Tampa, FL 33615 Ph. 813.885.7861 | www.icctampa.org SCHOOL OFFICE 5111 Webb Rd. Tampa, FL 33615 Ph. 813.884.4502 Fax: 813.885.3734 | www.icstampa.org.org

I pray these lines find all doing well. All is good here and it is still great to be back, it was wonderful meeting with all of you and your welcomes and letting me know I was missed means more than you know. I’m not sure if you are sharing in my joy but I am loving this weather!!! As I write in my office, I am having to wear a jacket because it is cold in my office (guessing there is little or no insulation LOL) In fact, at the moment it is warmer outside than in my office LOL. As per this time of year, as the liturgical year starts to wind up, we are hearing about the end times. The knowledge that we are not meant to live here forever becomes soberingly clear. As we hear about the end times it is a reminder for us that we may meet “our own personal” end times before Jesus arrives. This knowledge always reminds me of the boy scout motto – be prepared. We as a people have a wonderful word which I always make the most of – it called procrastination. On different levels and at different times in my life I have been the poster child for this – especially schoolwork, back in the day. BUT, if we as adults are still living our lives in this way then we are placing a lot of pressure and fear on our own personal “end times.” If you know that you are walking down a dark path, if you have done things, you regret and never confessed. If you are still holding onto hurt and refusing to forgive, and Jesus calls your number then its game over and you are out of time. Jesus wants us to live in peace and joy. We were created in love and meant to live our every moment encircled within the love of the Trinity. If we are not feeling this, then we really need to do whatever it takes to get ourselves where God wants and plans for us to be. God Bless You, Have a great week! Love, Fr. Mike

RCIA Interested in Becoming Catholic? Is God calling you? Are you looking to deepen your relationship with Jesus and be part of His Church? RCIA – Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the process of initiation by which individuals are fully received into the Catholic Church through the reception of Baptism, Confirmation, and Holy Eucharist or Communion. This process begins September 12th. If you, or anyone you may know, are interested in becoming Catholic or simply have questions regarding the Catholic faith, please contact Deacon Matt Shirina at 813-884-3624 or you can email him at dff@icctampa.org Dear Parishioners, The celebration of the Eucharist is the center of the entire Christian life both for the Church universally and for the local congregation of the Church. All the other sacraments, all the ministries of the Church, and the works of the apostolate are united with the Eucharist and are directed towards it. The Holy Eucharist contains the entire spiritual treasures of the Church, that is, Christ Himself, our Passover and living bread. Therefore, veneration and adoration which is due to God himself, has always been customary in the Catholic Church. We will be adding an additional opportunity for Exposition of the Holy Eucharist. Besides First Friday after Mass we will now be having Eucharist Adoration on Monday evening between 7 and 8 PM and will be conducted by the Deacons of Incarnation Parish. Please come and spend some time with Our Lord in silence. Blessings, Deacon Jim

EL REINO DE DIOS

December 5, 2021

8 am - 4pm
