I pray these lines find all doing well. All is great here at “Incarnation Central”, its busy but not too busy, just enough to keep us all off the streets.
In today’s Gospel, Jesus gives the Beatitudes. They really speak to each of us at one time or another in our life. These lines bring us hope and help us to realize that, although we are different people, we all have similar experiences, emotions, joys and struggles. Jesus is with us in all of it, remember He tells us – “I am with you always.!”
Our second reading really gives us food for thought and helps us to not take ourselves too seriously. St. Paul writes, God has chosen the foolish of the world to shame the wise and chose the weak of the world to shame the strong. The bottom line of these words ends with, “so that no human being may boast before God.”
All that we have, all that we are comes from God, we really never have an occasion to boast because all is a gift.
God Bless You, Love, Fr. Mike
