I pray these lines find all doing well and continuing to enjoy the Christmas season – remember, it does not end until the Baptism of the Lord. This weekend we celebrate the Epiphany of Our Lord. The wise men followed a star based on faith. This makes them truly wise, trusting in God is the wisest thig we can ever do. Some people confuse wisdom with mind book reading retention, but this is a great gift given to some like music or art in other people. These men who traveled to see the new-born King left the comforts of where they came from and what they were accustomed to. Notice the big difference in King Herod, one who clung to his power and kingdom and felt threatened by anything – even a little infant. The lesson we can learn from this in our own lives is do we cling to what we know, to what is comfortable in our lives, or do we venture into unknown territory if the Lord leads us? He will probably not use a star but I’m pretty sure He will knock at the doors of our hearts, and because, like these men, you are wise, you WILL open your hearts and follow where you are led. God Bless You! Love, Fr. Mike

Dear Parishioners, The celebration of the Eucharist is the center of the entire Christian life both for the Church universally and for the local congregation of the Church. All the other sacraments, all the ministries of the Church, and the works of the apostolate are united with the Eucharist and are directed towards it. The Holy Eucharist contains the entire spiritual treasures of the Church, that is, Christ Himself, our Passover and living bread. Therefore, veneration and adoration which is due to God himself, has always been customary in the Catholic Church. We will be adding an additional opportunity for Exposition of the Holy Eucharist. Besides First Friday after Mass we will now be having Eucharist Adoration on Monday evening between 7 and 8 PM and will be conducted by the Deacons of Incarnation Parish. Please come and spend some time with Our Lord in silence. Blessings, Deacon Jim

Dear Parishioners, The purpose for our ministry is to provide comfort, warmth, and love through the articles we hand crochet or knit. Among the items are shawls, lap blankets, baby blankets. We provide these items to those children and adults that are gravely sick, recovering from surgery, a severe injury, fighting cancer. If you knit or crochet, or would like to learn how to, please join our ministry. We meet the 2nd Tuesday of every month (September - May Only) at 7:00 p.m. in St Patrick’s classroom. Or if you would like to help the ministry, donations of yarn are always welcome. Please call or visit the parish office if you or a loved one are in need of one of these items.
It has come to our attention that a scam email is out and calls. The email looks like it’s from Fr. Mike and in the message, he’s asking for money. Recently, parishes have been targeted by similar scams and innocent parishioners wanting to help their pastor are falling for the scam. Because of this, we thought it was important that you know about it. If you receive a similar email, just DELETE IT! FYI - Fr. Mike would never request money from anyone by email.
SPIRITUAL MOTHERHOOD FOR PRIESTS We pray the Rosary of Intercession every Thursday after the 7am Mass.
