I pray these lines find all doing well, amazing to think that Thanksgiving is already here. I pray that all of you have a wonderful celebration with family and friends, it truly is a wonderful time to reflect on the Blessings the Lord has bestowed upon us this past year.

We celebrate this weekend the end of the liturgical year in the celebration of Christ the King of the Universe. The distinction of our celebration has been fine tuned to include the universe – in other words we are reminded that all that we see, all that exists belongs by rite to the one true King – Jesus Christ, creator, and ruler of all. Amazing enough, the throne that we see Jesus on is the Holy Cross. As we end the liturgical year, we begin the season of Advent. In the celebration of this weekend, one of my favorite Christmas songs always comes to mind, I will end my article with this, and although it is a Christmas song, it certainly speaks to this weekend’s celebration. The title of the song is “How many Kings.” The words for part of the song read. How many kings step down from their thrones? How many lords have abandoned their homes? How many greats have become the least for me? And how many gods have poured out their hearts to romance a world that is torn all apart? How many fathers gave up their sons for me? Catholic Campaign for Human Development

Please be generous in this week’s special collection for the Catholic Campaign for Human Development. In the United States, more than 11% of the population lives in poverty. With this collection, you support programs that address the root causes of poverty and provide a sustainable future for those struggling across the country. In addition, 25% of the funds we collect remain in our diocese to fund local antipoverty projects. Please prayerfully consider how you can support this collection and support those working on the margins. Faith Formation

St. Vincent de Paul collected canned and boxed food for Thanksgiving and our Faith Formation Families helped. They collected over 250 items. We want to thank all of our students and their families for taking part in our food drive. The highest amount by a single class was our 2nd graders. However, we are grateful to all our students. BE PROUD!! You all did an amazing job. We look forward to working with the St. Vincent de Paul Society again in the future.

St. Vincent de Paul recolectó alimentos enlatados y en cajas para el Día de Acción de Gracias y nuestras Familias de Formación en la Fe ayudaron. Recolectaron más de 250 artículos. Queremos agradecer a todos nuestros estudiantes y sus familias por participar en nuestra colecta de alimentos. La cantidad más alta por una sola clase fueron nuestros estudiantes de 2º grado. Sin embargo, estamos agradecidos con todos nuestros estudiantes. ¡¡SIÉNTETE ORGULLOSO!! Todos ustedes hicieron un trabajo increíble. Esperamos volver a trabajar con la Sociedad de San Vicente de Paúl en el futuro.

THE 2023 MASS BOOK IS NOW OPEN!

All Mass intentions may be scheduled at our Parish Office, Monday - Friday, 9am - 4pm. Unfortunately, due to over 50 unpaid Masses we are unable to accept phone requests. We apologize for any inconvenience. If you are unable to come in, you may send a check with a date request, name, intention, and a contact number (Please print). We will be happy to accommodate the request if the date is available. If requesting more than 3 Masses at a time, please have a list prepared with printed names with intentions. You can offer a Mass for a deceased loved one, a birthday, anniversary, for healing or in thanksgiving for prayers answered. Masses may only be requested for one particular person a maximum of 3 times per year. The donation is $20.00 per Mass payable at time of request.

SVdP CHRISTMAS ANGEL TREE

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, The Incarnation St. Vincent de Paul Society will be sponsoring their annual Christmas Angel Tree Drive to assist those who will need a helping hand this year. We will start with our parishioners-in-need first to give their children a memorable Christmas. And then we can expand to a local children’s facility, depending on the response. Because this parish’s response has been so generous through these challenging times, we may also be able to include helping the elderly who are struggling on fixed incomes. Therefore, we will provide an angel-laced Christma s tree filled with these various requests starting the weekend of November 19th. In order to make this a success, we must first be informed of those parishioners in need. Please call the parish office at 813-885-7861 and leave a message with your name and phone number. We will call you back to get specific information on children’s gender, age, needs, etc. to place on the angels. Please leave a message starting immediately through November 23th. Please bring your unwrapped gift with the angel taped to it by December 10th ,drop them in the box provided in the church foyer. Thank you for your kindness and generosity we look forward to helping our parish put smiles on children’s faces Christmas morning!

Society of St. Vincent de Paul –Incarnation Conference

Thanks to the generous support from our parish, we have assisted, from February to mid-August, 99 households consisting of 238 people in our community with rent, utilities, food, and other expenses. And we have been able to help them solely because of your generosity. The food pantry, located in what was previously the chapel, is now open two days a month on the fourth Wednesday and Saturday from 10am to noon for those who reside in the 33614, 33615, 33634 and 33635 zip codes. Those in need may also call 813-421-2201 for an appointment. We appreciate your continued support with food and monetary donations every third Sunday of the month. If you are interested in learning more about our organization, we welcome you to join us at our monthly meetings every third Wednesday of the month at 6:30 at the back of the church across from Grotto with the blessed Mother. La Sociedad de San Vicente de Paul –Conferencia de la Iglesia de Encarnación

Gracias al generoso apoyo de nuestra parroquia, hemos ayudado, desde febrero hasta mediados de agosto, a 99 hogares que consisten en 238 personas en nuestra comunidad con alquiler, servicios públicos, alimentos y otros gastos. Y hemos podido ayudarlos únicamente gracias a su generosidad. La despensa de alimentos, ubicada en lo que antes era la capilla, ahora está abierta dos días al mes el cuarto miércoles y sábado de 10 am a mediodía para aquellos que residen en los códigos postales 33614, 33615, 33634 y 33635. Los necesitados también pueden llamar al 813-421-2201 para una cita. Agradecemos su continuo apoyo con donaciones de alimentos y dinero cada tercer domingo del mes. Si está interesado en obtener más información sobre nuestra organización, le invitamos a unirse a nosotros en nuestras reuniones mensuales cada tercer miércoles del mes a las 6:30 en la sala en la parte trasera de la iglesia frente a la Gruta con la Santísima Madre. Registration for Faith Formation has ended for 2022/2023 year. We will always take children into our classes, however if they are in the two-year preparation for a sacrament then that will begin August of 2023. When registering, Please bring a copy of your child’s Baptismal certificate and, if completed, their First Holy Communion certificate with you.

The faith formation office is open Monday - Thursday from 9am - 4pm.and closed on Fridays, if you have any questions. You can reach out to Deacon Matt or Miss Judy in the Faith Formation Office at 813-884-3624 or email Judy at reled@icctampa.org.

We are always in need of Catechist for Faith Formation. Please let us know if you are interested. Teens in need of service hours may also volunteer to help Miss Judy and/or in the classrooms on Sunday as well. You may speak with Miss Judy to sign up.

La inscripción para la Formación en la Fe ha finalizado para el año 2022/2023. Sin embargo, siempre traeremos niños a nuestras clases, si están en preparación de dos años para un sacramento, que comenzará en agosto de 2023. EL LIBRO DE MISAS 2023 YA ESTÁ ABIERTO!

Desafortunadamente, debido a más de 50 misas no pagadas, no podemos aceptar solicitudes telefónicas. Nos disculpamos por cualquier inconveniente. Si no puede venir, puede enviar un cheque con una solicitud de fecha, nombre, intención y un número de contacto (letra de imprenta). Estaremos encantados de darle la fecha si la fecha está disponible. Si solicita más de 3 misas a la vez, tenga una lista preparada con nombres impresos con intenciones. Puede ofrecer una Misa por un ser querido fallecido, un cumpleaños, un aniversario, por sanación o en acción de gracias por las oraciones contestadas. Sólo se podrán pedir misas para una persona en particular un máximo de 3 veces al año. La donación es de $20.00 por misa pagadera al momento de la solicitud.
