I pray all are doing well and having a peaceful time as we fly towards Christmas, now it is definitely “crunch time! For the last three weeks we have heard of John the Baptist, “the greatest man born of woman” – Jesus’ words, not mine! But today we hear about the greatest of all creation – the Blessed Mother, the crowning glory of humanity. In today’s Gospel St. Elizabeth speaks of Mary, her cousin and mother of the Savior and our mother. It is very important that we remember and realize that Mary was a young teenager when the angel of God appeared to her with God’s “humanity changing” request. Mary was so devoted to God that there was only one answer to so great a question – she gave her “Fiat,” her “Yes” to God. She had no idea how it would affect her life, but she was obedient. She was also a woman of service, having heard that her older cousin Elizabeth was “with child” herself, she set out to help her and stayed with her and Zechariah until John was born. As we enter into Christmas, I pray we have a heart of total trust and service to God. Trusting in God does not mean that life will be easy BUT it does mean that we live a life of confidence and trust that – whatever comes our way – God is with us! Our Public Masses Have Resumed With Safety Protocols In Effect (Face masks to your level of comfort for people who attend mass). Everyone must use main entrance and follow the instructions of the ushers. Please be patient. The side doors are ONLY emergency exits. They are marked by green crosses. People who live in the same home may sit together. Ushers will greet each person and show them to their seat. There will be a collection basket at the entrance. No basket will be passed around and there will be no basket bearers. Hand sanitizer dispensers are in the Narthex as you enter and leave. No holding hands at Our Father and no contact peace. Ushers will direct section by section in a single line at three communion spots. Communion is ONLY distributed on the hand, not the tongue, for the time being at Incarnation. Please respect other’s space in communion line with proper distance.

No pasaremos la canasta dentro de la misa y por el momento las especies para la consagración serán colocados en la mesa cerca del altar en lugar de llevarlos en procesión. Tendrá la oportunidad de higienizar sus manos a la entrada/salida del templo.

Dear Parishioners, The celebration of the Eucharist is the center of the entire Christian life both for the Church universally and for the local congregation of the Church. All the other sacraments, all the ministries of the Church, and the works of the apostolate are united with the Eucharist and are directed towards it. The Holy Eucharist contains the entire spiritual treasures of the Church, that is, Christ Himself, our Passover and living bread. Therefore, veneration and adoration which is due to God himself, has always been customary in the Catholic Church. We will be adding an additional opportunity for Exposition of the Holy Eucharist. Besides First Friday after Mass we will now be having Eucharist Adoration on Monday evening between 7 and 8 PM and will be conducted by the Deacons of Incarnation Parish. En una época de injusticia y amenaza de invasión, el profeta Miqueas valientemente anuncia que el Dios del insignificante Israel hará surgir a un líder de un lugar tan remoto como Belén, y este líder traerá justicia y paz a todo el mundo.
