don't worry, summer isn't over yet
Kirsten Ballesteros (grade 12, member of DOKC) used up the spare time left of summer vacation. She make her way through Mammoth Lakes, Yosemite, and South Lake Tahoe. Ballesteros visits waterfalls, tourist attractions and family while at it. She showed fun and exciting emotions, while on the trip, in an online interview stating "It was probably one of my favorite things I did over the summer!"

We thank everyone that came out the welcome back night at Desert Oasis High School. Success would be an understatement to how it went. We filled up nearly three whole pages of names of people who are interested in joining out bee-utiful club! We got people from all ages and grades written down. These people will shortly receive
an email on all the info needed to attend the first meeting. Seeing all these sign ups got our board excited to start our first meeting. Meeting will take place on August 25 in the Desert Oasis Library. It free for everyone to join that attends DO! We hope to see and meet many students. All the new board members are preparing themselves for this exciting day.
