Editor's Message Like the old saying goes "All good things come to an end." and in fact, this key club term has definitely been one of those good things. To wrap up the last months of the key club year, our club has been working harder than ever. With tons of volunteering opportunities over the month of March (and many more to come) our members have been ensuring they get they hours in time, and they could have done a better job at it! As always as the board, we thank all the hardworking members that make our club special and unlike others! With how its been going, I can't to see what next year brings us!

The articles and visual submissions that we have received over the month of march have been incredible. This newsletter's article is dedicated to Alexis Shaffer (Grade 12) on her volunteering experience at the Las Vegas Rescue Mission.

At the Las Vegas Rescue Mission, we helped aide the homeless by preparing food and distributing it to them. First, we organized and restocked the pantry. Then, we transferred around 100 cans of soup into bins. Finally, we cleaned up our area and discarded all the boxes. It felt good helping the community and reminded me how just a little bit of our time can make such a big difference.

Rock and Roll Marathon As an annual Desert Oasis Key Club service event, the rock and roll marathon finally took place in March! Luckily, we were able to have our own water station, handing out water to all the hardworking runners! Many of both our members and board members attended this event, making it a core event of the year. Thank you to all these members that submitted wonderful visuals of the event!

Opportunity Village Thrift Store With all the volunteering opportunities and service events offered to our club during the month of March, the Opportunity Village Thrift Store was one of them! Many of our members attended this service event in which they helped many civilians in need in the Las Vegas valley at the Thrift Store at Opportunity Village! Members wrote many articles articles on the event and submitted even more visuals! Even if you were unable to attend the event, thanks to our hardworking members, you would have a good idea on just how this amazing event went! One of these members being newly elected Bulletin Editor for next term, Trischelle Molina (Grade 9) (right), writing "The experience was fun, and the employees, other volunteers, and even customers were really nice and interesting for the most part.". Its always a good feeling helping those in need!
