A message from your vice president Things I’ve missed about Key Club “One of the things I love so much about Key Club is the sense of community. Halfway through my sophomore year when I joined for the first time, I instantly knew that this club was something I’m really going to love being a part of. From that moment on I looked forward to attending every meeting, participating in every ice breaker, talking to every board member, talking to every general member, and attending as many service events as I could. But since we're in quarantine I can't do any of that. I miss staying after the meeting hanging out with the board, I miss staying after the meetings and talking to the kid who was waiting to be picked up, I miss all the memories I was creating with the new friends I was making. Through the 2020-2021 school year, while things will be altered in many ways to coincide with Covid 19. I know I can still make great memories with the board members, fellow key clubbers, and make the best out of a not so great situation.”
Splashing for service,
Bryan Diaz 2020-2021 Vice President

“Since quarantine, I have been working on self improvement such as playing tennis and working out. I’ve tried new things such as painting and even got back into baking. At night, I watch a lot of movies.”

“Over quarantine, I knew I wouldn’t have much to do so I thought it’d be the perfect time to start working out again and keep it consistent compared to my other failed attempts lol! I began to workout by myself and with a friend so that constantly kept me motivated and let time pass by much quicker. Not only that, but to keep myself busy throughout the morning and afternoon, I would clean the house almost everyday or at least do something around so I wouldn’t be on my phone too much. Once June 1st hit, I began to do my online government school work which certainly kept me busy for over a month. I still hung out with my friends (and wore my mask of course) whenever we could and even made new ones! I also began to grow a love for running and hiking and have been trying to go once or twice every week either by myself or with another person; and even on my birthday, I went hiking at Red Rock for the first time with some friends and it was absolutely amazing :)”

”During quarantine, I’ve been mainly working, finding new music, and binge watching shows.”
