A message from your president “For many of us throughout this month, weeks have felt like years and it seems like there’s an unending cycle of problems we must address and fight against. It can feel draining seeing so much information on one topic, but please don’t think that the petitions you may sign and the facts you may spread are going to waste. The global discussion you are a part of will lead to immense justice and equity that has been long overdue for many minority groups globally. I’m grateful for the effort you put it in to make even the smallest amounts of reform a reality. You are helping more people you may not realize, friends, families, communities, or even a president of a club.” ”Follow the pledge you recite, not only by spoken word, but by intentional action. I know brighter days will come, I believe in this club, division, region, generation, and everyone far and between that a new golden age will occur and we will be the ones who lay its foundation.”
Splashing for service,
Aniekan Odong 2020-2021 President

The 2019-2020 school year has officially ended, and we would like to spotlight a few of our seniors to tell us how Key Club has impacted their high school years and the people they are today.
Senior
“Key Club made up a majority amongst all the things I enjoyed throughout high school. From serving and giving back to the community, to all the fun events like RTC, Fall Rally, Relay for Life, Dance Marathon, and many more, I couldn’t have wished for a better club to join. I enjoyed every second of being in this club, no matter how I was feeling. Thanks to key club, I am the person I am today!”
~ Ethan Sena, 2019-2020 Vice President of Spirit & D28S Spirit Coordinator “Key club is one of the things that I’m grateful to have been able to join. I made friends that I consider family now, went to service events and got the opportunity to help people, and learned how to raise awareness and contribute to countless organizations. It helped me stay invested in school, helped me get my first job, and taught me that sometimes the best things you do in life are the ones where you don’t get anything in return; just a thank you :).” ~ Yelba Gonzalez, 2019-2020 Upperclassmen Representative “Joining key club was one of the most memorable and impactful parts of high school. It brought so many unforgettable memories and experiences that I never would’ve imagined having. I was able to meet so many new people while helping out the community.”

Congratulations class of 2020, you all have bright futures ahead of you!!
“Key club has affected me and my high school experience in many different ways. In my last year of high school, I decided that I would commit to Key Club and be more involved with it. I’ve made so many great friends, talked to a lot of people that I wouldn’t have before, and it let me play a bigger role in my community. Prior to Key Club, I used to be quite introverted and quiet, but through it, I was able to build more of my social skills and talk more. Volunteering for events also influenced what I want to do in the future; to be more involved in helping my community and help more people. I’ve had so many fun experiences that wonderfully concluded my last year of high school. From the games during meetings, to chanting at RTC, to Fall Rally, these events will always make my high school experience more memorable as I look back at them. I’m thankful for the experiences and people that Key Club has brought me, and I wish that I was already in it since the start. WE LOVE KEY CLUB! đ&#x;’—đ&#x;”‘â€? ~ Madeline Barnett, April 2020 Member of the Month “In my four years of Key Club, it taught me leadership and how to care for others. It showed me how helping your community really affects the people in it in a positive way. Key Club has taught me to go out of my comfort zone and to genuinely work for was I believe in.â€? ~ Adelle Zarandin, 2019-2020 President
