Established in 1968, Danish textile manufacturer Kvadrat develops and produces fabrics that are specified by the world’s leading furniture brands and architects. Their goal was to raise their brand profile in the wider design community and, ultimately, the consumer market.

The 2010 campaign celebrated Kvadrat’s association with iconic design pieces without tying the company exclusively to particular designers or brands. The campaign featured an array of sculptured and upholstered forms that subtly referenced the last four decades of furniture design at the same time as showcasing Kvadrat’s famously extensive range of fabrics. The forms were reconfigured to create a varied body of images for press and print applications. They also formed the basis of a short film created with the campaign’s photographer, Matthew Donaldson.

Identity for a new club and restaurant with a burlesque theme and changing performances. Since the club interior features many mirrored surfaces, the design of the logo is based on the shape of a kaleidoscope. The outline shape and basic construction of the logo always remains the same while the inside changes depending on its application. Other influences came from Surrealism, Art Deco, Alice in Wonderland, animals and the steps leading up to the large table, that doubles up as a stage. A main feature of the interior is a 3 dimensional version of the logo built from different layers of perspex, set into a wall and illuminated from the back in changing colours. Collaboration with Design Research Studio.

1.1 Architects –– Description –– A layered corporate identity for mid-sized architectural studio, 1.1 Architects, consisting of a three-dimensional mark, logo, typography, colour, photography and written language. The collaborative practice was interpreted through the mark which was based on the geometric principles of the tesseract where imagination and varying inputs can create many possible outcomes. Unique in its three-dimensional form the picture mark referenced the process of architecture - planned, sketch and complete upon construction.
