Chichen Itzá una de las Nuevas Siete Maravillas del Mundo y Patrimonio de la humanidad desde 1988. En la antigua Ciudad Maya de Chichén Itzá, durante el verano y el otoño podemos presenciar el equinoccio.
Chichen Itza one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988. At the ancient Maya city of Chichén Itzá, during the spring and fall we can admire the equinoxes.
La Gran Pirámide de Kukulcán, “El castillo” sirve de símbolo visual para que el Sol del atardecer genere la ilusión de la serpiente emplumada descendiendo en la escalera Norte.
The great pyramid of Kukulcán serves as a visual symbol of the day and night as the sun of the late afternoon creates the illusion of a snake creeping slowly down the northern staircase. 5
El estilo Tolteca lo podemos apreciar en la serpiente emplumada, llamada “Kukulcan”, en los toltecas “Quetzacoatl” , así como, el “Chac-mool” y las calaveras Tzompantli de los guerreros Toltecas. Toltec style includes the presence of the feathered or Feathered Snake, called Kukulcan or Quetzalcoatl, chacmools, the Tzompantli skull rack of Toltec warriors.
La arquitectura e iconografía de Chichen Itzá es un resultado de la influencia Tolteca. El Castillo es asimismo un observatorio astronómico en el Solsticio de Verano, la combinación de Luz y Sombras con la precisión astronómica, hace “aparecer” la serpiente descendiendo de la pirámide. Chichen Itzá se encuentra localizado al Sureste de la Ciudad de Mérida, actual capital del Estado de Yucatán. 6
Architecture and iconography took place at Chichén Itzá as a result of an influx of Toltec people. El Castillo is also an astronomical observatory; on the summer solstice, the stair step profile lights up, the combination of light and shadow make it appear as if a giant snake is slithering down the steps of the pyramid. Chichen Itza is located to the southeast of Merida, Yucatan's capital city.

Muk Yah performs craft candles made by Maya communities, which are elaborated with honeycomb wax of bee. Their candles are as unique as they are normally used in the special dates.
