Silvina Rocha was born in Tucumán, Argentina. In addition to being a writer, she is a singer and a composer. Silvina has published Mateo y su Gato Rojo (Mateo and his Red Cat), Las Ovejas de Lala (Lala’s Sheep) and Pajaritos en la Cabeza (Little Birds in the Head), and Fernandito, her latest book. mEy! was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in a house with a backyard. She studied to become an art teacher at the School of Fine Arts Rogelio Yrurtia. Later, she studied design for several years at the University of Buenos Aires where she discovered and fell completely in love with the world of illustration. Since 2014, mEy! has been part of the project, Pequeños Grandes Mundos. With this group, she travels the world providing free art workshops for children in the mountains, at the beach, or in a city.
