Healthy Diet
Another key aspect of maintaining a healthy weight, and therefore a healthy immune system, is what you eat. A healthy diet is typically one that includes lots of fresh vegetables and fruit, whole grains and lean protein, while minimizing the intake of salt, sugar, cholesterol and saturated fats.
Sleep
Our bodies and brains need a decent amount of sleep each day to continue to operate optimally. There is scientific evidence to show that our immune systems can become compromised when we do not get enough sleep.
