自舊石器時代以來,人們已懂得用火,相聚在火堆周圍,相互取暖並烹煮食物,除此之外火還具有抵禦野獸之功 用。十九世紀愛迪生發明了電燈,人們從事活動的時間因此延長,無論燈是如何的運用,人們總是會聚在有光亮的 地方。家人相聚在客廳暖爐前看書,年輕人聚在營火前高歌,光是人之所趨,生活之必需,因此我選定燈具作為我 的主題。

燈具一直以來都是獨立的個體,在家中的不同區域就必須裝設許多盞燈,倘若有一盞燈能夠提供全家人無論在相聚 或分開時都能使用,以子母燈的方式呈現,除了在使用上具有方便性以外,產品本身也具有一家人聚散的涵義在其 中。 產品本身具有一個主要的母體,其餘小燈則為子體,子體可以收納進母體內,除此之外,子體越多則母體本身的燈 光則會增強,而子體也能藉由回歸母體這個動作,進行充電。

根據上圖燈光,發現黃色燈光較具有溫暖與柔和的感受,與產品所想帶給人的印象較為相似,故在母燈的使用上, 以黃色燈為主。

羊毛氈 –子燈
黑色鋼材-支架
半透明橡膠-子燈透光處
在材質的選用上,希望能夠以深色簡潔的材料為主,因此燈的支架部份,使用的是黑色鋼材,燈的材質使以 羊毛氈與橡膠為主,因為在子燈拆解下來的時候,會與人產生接觸,希望藉由材質的選用,讓使用者有不同 的感官感受(材質與溫度),讓燈具能夠很柔軟的貼近使用者。

分為母體與子體兩個不同部分,子體本身分別為單 體,在脫離母體之後,仍然能夠發光,若長久使用下 來,電力耗盡則可以重回母體充電;在組裝上,具有 方向性與磁力,能夠相互結合,即使是單體之間也能 夠相互結合成為另一盞燈。

以吊燈的方式呈現,主體為一鋼架,每個單體之間形狀不同,以透明的、需充氣的塑膠材質 為主(如游泳圈一般),外層包覆具有透光性的布料,內部鑲嵌燈與電池,在個別拆開使用 時,也能夠發光,充氣的單體燈,也能夠當做抱枕使用。子燈與母燈之間,利用磁力結合。

造型為有機形,內部為蜂巢結構,子燈為充氣材外面包覆透光灰色布料,可以拆卸下來作為 單體使用,單體本身藉由磁力與主燈結合,拆卸下來之後,單體可以直立放置在家中四處。

自從上次發表完之後,經過不斷的思考與深化,終於確定了這盞燈的方向,整體的概念還是子母燈的想法, 但是在一些細節部份做了修改。 母體 - 母體結構為不完整的球形,以六角形為基本形。 - 母體本身沒有光源,光源由子燈提供。 - 母體提供子燈電源。 - 母體與支架間的結合為六角形結構,因此可以依照不同的需求,變換燈具的造型。 亦可以利用這種方式,作為模組化燈具,提供不同的支架(ex.吊燈支架、立燈支架、壁燈支架…)。 子燈 - 子燈為透明六角形結構,裝置在母體上可以看到母體的結構。 - 子燈的數量會較少於母體結構內的洞,做為留白。 - 子燈離開母體之後,可以再各自組合成另一盞燈,在電力用盡後,回到母體充電。

累了你就回家!無論你走到何方,無論距離家有多遠,當你疲憊的無以附加的時候,最先想到的會是什麼? 「家」 將家的概念融入到這個產品之中。房子只是個空殼,須要有人在裡面生活那才是個家。對我而言,家是個可以讓人 休息並且提供重新出發的動力的地方,因此我將這樣的想法注入燈具的設計之中。 六角形柱狀的子燈可以任意放置在主架構內,隨著放置在不同的位置能夠調整亮度,而主架構則提供子燈充電。 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------If you feel tired you should go home! No matter Where you go, no matter how far away from home when you are completely exhausted. Where the first place you will come into your heart? “Home” And lights will guide you home. Applying the idea of "home" to the product. The house itself is merely a shelter, which can be true "home" only when there are people living inside. To me, home is a place for people to rest, refresh, and rebirth, which is also the core of this lighting. Those hexagon-shaped lights can be randomly place into the main structure to adjust brightness, while the main structure serves as a recharge.
