Frequently Asked Questions Regarding Employment at UMHS 1. What are some jobs that I can apply for while attending high school? Temporary positions are great for students. You will most commonly see positions in the following areas: Clerical/Secretarial, Food and Patient Nutrition, Environmental Services, Material Services, and if over 18, Adult Patient Sitter. What jobs do you have that don’t require a college degree? Are special certifications required? While most jobs at UMHS do require previous experience, the typical entry level position does not require a degree. While we don’t quote a specific salary, the jobs that require the most education and experience are the well-compensated. Whatever your position, you can be sure UMHS offers competitive pay and generous benefits. 7. What is the application process? How do I apply? Where should I go to apply? You can find all the tools you need to apply at www.umjobs.org. The application process is done entirely online. Once a profile has been created, candidates must upload a resume, and start bidding on jobs that match their qualifications. Once candidates bid on jobs, their resumes are available to the hiring managers. If the department is interested in interviewing any candidates, they will contact the individual candidates directly.
